TRUMP CALLS FOR SWEEPING BUDGET CUTS: Democratic leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are reacting to Pres. Trump's just-released 2021 proposed budget. It calls for $292 billion in cuts to safety net programs (including Medicaid and food stamps), $170 billion in cuts to student loan forgiveness, a $3.3 billion cut to the National Institutes of Health, and a $6.2 billion cut to the Education Dept. Funding would rise for ICE, Customs & Border Protection, the border wall, NASA, and Veterans Affairs.

It's very seldom a bad thing to encourage people to do more for themselves. We live in a sick society where the Gov't. is expected to do everything for people. Gov't's role is to enact legislation and act as a "watchdog", not picking up after people! :)

Yes but their role should include limiting the amount of resources eaten by the bureaucracy . Sadly enacting legislation just expands the reach and waste of said bureaucracy.

Yeah cuts are great. It's great that 1 in 7 kids don't get enough to eat (and no they aren't all fat if you think you'll offer that childish generalisation). It's great that the number of kids with no health coverage has risen. https://ccf.georgetown.edu/2018/11/21/nations-progress-on-childrens-health-coverage-reverses-course/
It's great that education is getting worse. https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinio...stem-fails-our-children-and-its-getting-worse
And it's great that the wealthy and corporations get their hugse subsidies and Trump spends wads at hisgolf courses and "Space Force". lmao
After all, a stupid, unhealthy population is easy to control.
If I were prez and wanted to make America great again, I'd be pouring money to keep future generations healthy and the best educated kids in the world. But Trump couldn't care less as long as he can make money off the office. And so many dumbasses think that's great. I just think it's funny, pathetic but funny.
He's MCGA (making china great again). lol

The worst thing we should be doing is throwing more $ at the problem. It's been reported time and time again recently that between 56 and 60% of food produced ends up in the land fills. There's no excuse for that kind of bull shit! Three or four days BEFORE the "best before date" all this food should be going out to food banks, hospitals, prisons, senior's homes etc. There's no excuse for ANY waste!

Does that translate to one in seven parents should practice birth control ? Seriously though , would you rather be poor in the U.S. or Canada , compared to Bangladesh ,Soweto or MexicoCity . The main reason children go hungry is drug and alcohol abuse by their parents . Is it the governments place to feed the nation ?
P.S.
Back in the day , prior to white mans arrival in N.A. how many children went hungry ? And what was the life expectancy .

Holding a republican loyalist registration card means you may be subject to different laws in this day and age apparently. If I were a criminal in the United States, I would definitely register as a republican and praise the president as the best thing since sliced bread. Murderers, child molesters, racists, tax evaders, those who lie to congress, and even traitors making a buck from serving the interests of foreign governments, are likely to get either a pardon or a greatly reduced sentence if they kneel before Trump. The emperor always treats his loyalists well.

Trial team quits Roger Stone case in dispute over sentence

WASHINGTON (AP) — The four lawyers who prosecuted Roger Stone quit the case Tuesday after the Justice Department overruled them and said it would take the extraordinary step of lowering the amount of prison time it would seek for President Donald Trump’s longtime ally and confidant.
The departures raised immediate questions over whether Trump, who earlier in the day had blasted the original sentencing recommendation as “very horrible and unfair," had at least indirectly exerted his will on a Justice Department that he often views as an arm of the White House.

So all four federal federal prosecutors who took the case against Trump pal Roger Stone withdrew in protest Tuesday after top Justice Department officials undercut them and disavowed the government's recommended sentence. Welcome to a post acquittal Trump. This is just the start to what this newly emboldened man will do.
