I'm sure the Speaker's office has a lovely dank little closet in the farthest reaches of the basement for self entitled cows like JWR to stew in.
The more we learn about ancient migration via DNA the more avenues open up with respect to ancient immigration to the Americas. It seems that people have been coming and going from north and south America along various routes for potentially thousands of years aside from the Bering land bridge. At the southern tip of South America DNA in some communities matches that of some New Zealanders, and other bits of ancient weirdness from tip to tip of the Americas. That would be modern day Russia and China. The Aboriginals migrated to North America through a land bridge between Alaska and Russia thousands of years ago.
Meh, I still don't see the big deal. It's not like Team Groper has another 4 years in the pocket anyway.

The Olmec statues with their features are some of the oldest man-made relics in the Americas and if you look at them they don’t look like aboriginals from this continent. There are stories of North American aboriginals warring with redheaded giants along the pacific northwest, and other interesting out of place artifacts that just do not fit in the current historical record that bring question to the Bering land bridge being the only or even most frequently used Avenue to the Americas for ancient people’s.
Jody Wilson-Raybould moves out of ministerial office suite after initially refusing
Struck a deal, but won't say what was in the deal for JWR
I don’t think we can completely dismiss the Bering land bridge as before the end of the last Ice Age it wasn’t the strip of land connecting Russia and Alaska that I always thought it was.... But it was a sizeable chunk of land about the size of modern Alaska. All sorts of animal migration could’ve taken place going back and forth between the new and old world.... But people specifically have been coming and going from several different routes for millennia. Current theory is that camels actually evolved in the Canadian Arctic & then migrated west into Siberia and then spread out into the old world.the Bering land bridge has been dismissed for a number of years now.
Many things that fall into the ocean around Japan wash up on the western shore of North America, and things that fall into the ocean in the western pacific can wash up on the western shore of South America. The oldest evidence of humanity appears to be in South America, which sort of puts the Bering Land Bridge into doubt.
I watched a film (and I can't seem to remember the name) about a man who built a raft somewhere in the New Zealand area and floated it to south america, in much the same way Thor Hyadral did in the Atlantic.
He did it because he found a striking similarity between the New Zealand totem carvings and the South American totems carvings.
The thing about animals migrating across the Ice Bridge is what did they eat?

My grandparents ranch in Saskatchewan had all kinds of neat artefacts like TeePee rings and on a hillside in stones that you could see only from a distance (back a couple hundred feet) was a butterfly (to us it looked like a butterfly). One town away is where most of the native artefacts in the natural history Museum in Regina come from and most of those date from approximately 6000 years ago. Agreeing with what you’ve said many sites in Central and South America can be dated back to 10,000 years old or more. It really puts the accepted version of history in question. I guess I should say the current accepted Version of history?
That would be fine if the people in charge would provide her with a new office to move to. Basically it is not her problem. SHe has an office. whoever wants her to move can provide the new one.In this case the only apology due is from this woman who refuses to give up her former office which she lost any claim to once she was booted out of government. The rightful occupant is Minister of Northern Affairs Dan Vandal from Manitoba.
CBC is liberal controlled. Of course CBC would go for anything that makes an independent from the west where liberals are hated that left the Liberal party look bad.She sure isn't getting any love on the CBC site. 3759 comments so far and the overwhelming majority are slamming Pug for her arrogance and sense of entitlement. Really surprised that the CBC let so many of the comments stand as some of them were really quite over-the-top but they are and haven't yet closed down the comments. A good number of the comments are from people who had some respect for this person but are now having their eyes opened to her real 'truth.'
Not out here so far as I can tell. Fact still remains it is not her job to find a new office so there is no reason for her to leave the one she is in. Any pushing just makes everyone here hate liberals even more. If that is possible. She's losing all credibility she had before!
So you finally admit it is not Jody's responsibility to find new digs? That is why she is staying put.It is not the duty of the Liberal government to assign offices, Jin. I can't imagine that a single liberal MP would be happy to have her anywhere near their offices considering the fact that she has proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that all the previous rumors of her inability to work well with others are now coming home to roost.
Edit to add: It is the duty of HOC Administration to assign office space.
