"If I decide to run for office, I'll produce my tax returns, absolutely," he said. "And I would love to do that."
"certainly show tax returns if it was necessary."
"I'm thinking about maybe when we find out the true story on Hillary's emails,"
"I have very big returns, as you know, and I have everything all approved and very beautiful and we'll be working that over in the next period of time, Chuck," Trump said. "Absolutely."
"I've had it for years. I get audited. And obviously if I'm being audited, I'm not going to release a return," he said. "As soon as the audit is done, I love it."
"Tax experts throughout the media agree that no sane person would give their tax returns during an audit," he said. "After the audit, no problem!"
"I don't mind releasing. I'm under a routine audit, and it will be released. As soon as the audit's finished, it will be released," he said.
etcetera etcetera
So much for his inaugural "tranparency" claim.
Facts, including direct quotes from their hero.......... just don't penetrate the Trumpian loyalty.

Not really her tax returns are on the public dime pre 2017, his was private before 2017, hers is more relevant to be looked into on the grounds of public interest. IMO
That is a Trumpian game..........distract, deflect, confuse, spin...........anything to take the attention off the real issues.

Trump is refusing to release his tax returns for a reason......that only he and his lawyers know. If he was on the up and up.......... he would not be making such a big deal about it..........and thus making him look suspect.

Sometimes it seems he does these things just to have continuous media attention......... (along with the fact he has something to hide) He is not doing himself any favors........and making himself look suspect..........Actually he is NOT very bright........or he would know that he is creating his own bad optics.

Do you think maybe it's his lawyer's advising him not too? If they weren't on the up and up I'm sure the IRS would have flagged and fined him by now

Why would his lawyers advise him to not release them............unless there is something to hide. We just don't know what it is he is hiding......

He was not a good businessman.......and breaking boundaries was second nature to him. People seem to think that because he has money........ that he eared it ethically, or is a wise businessman. His bankruptcies were tactics........ not ethical one....... and he has a history of unethical conduct. He is a shyster.......and a verbally abusive one too. He has a cruel streak.d(bully).....that some misinterpret as "strength "

When folks support this kind of person........it says a lot about them too.

Maybe he is "hiding" the fact that he is a spoiled, rich brat used to people giving him what he wants just to shut him up and keep him from throwing tantrums. lol

You seem to have captured the essence of the man.......;-)

strange that his "supporters" don't see it. or if they do.....think it is acceptable.....when standards for a POTUS should be a lot higher than that.

Or things have changed so much that standards and ethics and credibly don't matter anymore in the US.

Personally I don't care about his tax returns.........but I find his attitude deplorable. Why does he have to hide behind his lawyers so much .........and why is the legal system so prevalent in this administration.?

If there are illegalities the IRS would flag them and pass them on to the authorities. Fifty years of returns and crickets from the IRS.

Phucked if I know or care to tell you the truth PGS, I answered your question
Sorry , just having fun . But really someone like Bush whose family is into so many ventures their personal return shows not much . The dirt will be in the affairs of those ventures , and are they included in the required return release ? Probably not I would think , remember Warren Buffet proudly proclaiming that his secretary pays more tax than he does ?

Integrity. Being a Trumpite, you wouldn't understand.
Says the guy who has been shown to be totally dishonest countless times.
