The withholding of financial support to Ottawa is what looks to be the immediate strategy.
Considering that Que, Ont and the Maritimes are in a position where they will have more retirees than workers, they are in an extremely difficult position in terms of funding the very basics as well as CPP, healthcare, etc.
Any Western province that elects to set up their own CPP, police force, EI program, etc. will have a dramatic effect on the money that reaches Ottawa.
