As we get closer to the elections the media goes further from the issues that really matter to the election. For example, they are talking about Jagmeet Singh surging in the polls right now, but not one word, not a single question about his ties to Khalistani extremists. Khalistani terrorists murdered 280 Canadians in the 1980’s and he has been seen speaking with people who back the moment. Yet not a word from our broken media.

I hope the TV watching types are up on "state media" or "post national" Canada is in deep deep doo doo over all.

There have been a lot of populist surprises though in a lot of countries but also a lot of re-vote till you get the desired results and/or sabotage too. I'm also guessing a lot of non white Canadians regard the guy as unattractive as a candidate.

After supporting Groper's grab for even more power, he announced his willingness to grant the government the extraordinary powers it sought to clear the laneways around Wellington Street, but stipulated they must never be used against “Indigenous land defenders, climate change activists, workers fighting for fairness.” Insisting that the rights of some Canadians deserve greater protection than others isn’t normally a position you associate with Singh’s party.
