I served for twelve years, Moosie. Ten of that was working "the Soviet problem" as we called it in military intelligence. I know more about Russia, the Soviet Union, and Russia again than you can even conceive of.

You wanna discuss it? Well, 30 years have passed, and most of it's declassified now. But to make it worth my time, you're gonna need to bring something better than "whatabout Russia" as an alleged argument in favor of Donny Dodger's America.

You're not going to stop Visa over stays, or folks not showing up for their court hearings..

What it might do is midigate drugs and illegals crossing in dangerous areas and drowning or dieing in the desert.

Force them to enter at a port of entry to claim refugee status.

It will help border agents to thier job more efficiently

What truly needs to be done is immigration laws updated and made faster..

So with all your intelligence gathering during the cold war, are you trying to say that the USSR wasn't infiltrating, financing, and supporting rebel forces in Central and South America to have bases to work from against the US? And Cliffy is right it's all the US meddling in those countries that are to blame? Please with all your experience against the communist threat explain it to me.

That would be in your fingers, not your mouth. You said the Berlin Wall worked. I'm just pointing out that it clearly didn't since it bankrupted the state. Also, there are plenty of videos to show just how easily a person could climb or circumvent the wall. The real problem was not their inability to scale over or go around the wall but rather the risk of getting shot dead by armed guards. That was the true testament to its 'succes'.
