I'd ask my Westerner father if he were still alive. Maybe, I'll ask my Westerner siblings and cousins.Ask your Grandfather
It seems to be a genetic, thang.

The delusion that you can drive home in your pickup truck on a paved road, sit down on your internet-connected computer, and convince yourself that you're living in the 1800s.What does it take to be a REAL Westerner?

because where you are born and who's your daddy is the most important thing.I gotta admit it is changing some, but essentially nose to the grindstone, pull your own weight, help where I can, work for what I receive, don't dictate to me what I have to do, give me a chance to agree.
Okay, Serryah - just what is Canada's 'core identity'?And I still wonder what this 'core identity' is that we've supposedly lost, because while I get each region likely has a different identity, I still think overall Canada's identity of who/what it is, is still present.

because if you don't believe in your own inherent superiority how can you believe in the inferiority of others?Yep environment and parental guidance helped form me into the person I am, what's your excuse?

Where the f-ck have I heard that before?because if you don't believe in your own inherent superiority how can you believe in the inferiority of others?
When are you moving back to Regina?I'd ask my Westerner father if he were still alive. Maybe, I'll ask my Westerner siblings and cousins.

Same thing. Only in hoid's case it is more like ack of parenting.Or very poor parenting.Yep environment and parental guidance helped form me into the person I am, what's your excuse?
You are making a whacking great assumption that is grossly in error that other Canadians coast-to-coast don't work as hard as you do. You are just plain wrong. I recommend that you travel it and learn about your country close up. Don't fly across it. See it up close, on the ground and spend some time at it. You will be sheepishly embarrassed at your current attitude to your non-Western countrymen.I gotta admit it is changing some, but essentially nose to the grindstone, pull your own weight, help where I can, work for what I receive, don't dictate to me what I have to do, give me a chance to agree.

How about one of those big, gay silver buckles, Brokeback?
