Everything you don't like is "white natty" related. That's why you're an idiot.
"Tidewater" is a white natty word? Holy f*ck dude, you have officially lost it. Your cheese has slipped off its cracker.
If you follow mainstream media you’ve probably heard the argument ‘we need to get our oil to tidewater’ ad nauseam.
Be it Natural Resource Minister Carr, Prime Minister Trudeau, Premier Notley or pipeline and tar sands industries, it’s a drum beat that’s building in intensity.
So what you're saying is that the Minster of Natural Resources, Rachel Notley and even Groper himself are "White nattys".
Why, here's that well known and rather infamous "White natty" Rachel Notley explaining how Alberta needs access to tidewater. https://globalnews.ca/video/3013334...-tidewater-notley-on-ending-albertas-landlock
Your problem is you have diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of thought.
Not long enough and would it kill you to throw in a meme or at least some smiley faces?

Optimism returns to the oil patch. Always nice to have a government in there that will fight for you - which the NDP were already doing.

The problem is money. Not enough money rolling into Alberta to float the boat for these guys.

Nobody wants to invest in oil sands. Its too much trouble.

Just ask the Alberta oil companies themselves. Did they buy the TM pipeline? Nope. Did Alberta buy it for them? Nope. The only ones willing to spend the money were the Feds - who are the enemy. Apparently.

So now Alberta has a right winger in there and what he does is going to make people - American people - want to pour money into Alberta oil companies.

I don't see how he can do it.

It is too much trouble. Why would any American invest in a Canadian oil and gas when their own oil and gas industry is growing much faster and presents fewer headaches.

Further, the businesses that got the big bonus tax cut are not reinvesting it in America - or in anywhere else. That money is not going anywhere but back into their own pockets.

So good luck Alberta. Hopefully the powers that be can somehow speculate that oil price back up to $100 a bbl which is really what has to happen.

Re the NDP

This is the best thing that could have happened to the NDP going into 2020.

Having the party in Alberta espousing everything you don't stand for was making them look bad.

When Alberta turns off the taps and really starts hurting the poor people in BC it is much better for a conservative to be doing it than an alleged left winger.

REALITY CHECK
Oil, gas sectors cheer election of pro-business premier Kenney

Key words "Pro-Business" not some scabby bitch that set a $15/hr wage and increased costs for everyone in Alberta.. Not a scabby Bitch that went after farmers, the oil companies and was so anti-business made Alberta the province with the highest unemployment rates in Canada

Yay! Doug Ford west. Alberians are sooooo lucky.

And in the fall, Canada will have our very own Trump wannabe. Yippy.

Good of you to predict a Conservative win come the fall election, Cliffy.

Progressives had their chance to try and win the hearts and minds of Canadians and failed largely because they neglected to take into consideration that their social justice agenda and championing of minority rights over those of all Canadians is yet another form of repression. No dissenting voices were allowed. Opposing opinions were denied. In their steadfast refusal to consider the right of all Canadians to a just and fair society, they exemplified the same narrow-minded self-righteous qualities as any of those on the far right spectrum.

Kenney's opening remarks of his acceptance speech did not bode well. "Alberta is open for business" hark back to Brian Mulroney's remarks back in 1988 which led us into the FTA, NAFTA, trickle down economics that eviscerated the industrial Canadian economy, and led to a vast polarization of wealth under him, Chretien, Harper and Trudeau.

He sounds like another damn NeoCon with their policies of austerity, government deconstuction, globalism, free trade, laissez-faire, deregulation, privatization, corporate apologetics, regressive taxation. I'm not sure Scheer offers anything different.

The time is ripe for a real Progressive Conservative, in the image of John A. MacDonald with principles of economic nationalism, populism, dirigism and, fiscal progressivism.

Also in placing a priority on social conservatism. What we've had is economic liberalism and cultural libertarianism which views conservative social policy.. that of cultural identity, moral absolutes, institutional integrity.. as something you pay lip service to lock up an electoral demographic.

You're complaining about the length of that short post? Sorry I don't have the ability to communicate at your level, 128 characters at a time or 5 second sound bytes.

So did you watch the video and hear Notley the "white natty" talk about getting product to tidewater or was that just you preferring to be smarmy and pretend you have a friggin' clue what you're talking about?

It's an acceptable excuse for a mandate of the NWO to transfer wealth from the rich countries to the poor countries, Countries like Lib. Canada are adopting it to transfer wealth from the rich to the poor. Plain and Simple as that

It's okay Cliffy, soon you will get your wish in BC..

No oil for cars, gas prices double what they are.. higher taxes.. no economy..

spoken like a childish dictator who has no problem creating hardships and watching others suffer The inhumanity of that kind of thinking is appalling. Why didn't you plan your fiances better and do some future planning when AB was riding high under the blue eyed sheikh ?? You had the megabucks to ministration off the dirty oil into something more modern and environment friendly.

such crazy threats speak more to the type of person you so happily elected. You have your own Trump lite.

AB hit a rough patch and can't seem to figure out how to handle it CREATIVELY with progressive thinking.

King Ralph was in a catch 22 save and invest or build infrastructure to keep up to the demand of O&G and the growing population, he went infrastructure and doubled the heritage fund in case of a downturn. Nobody and I mean nobody could foresee the drop in Oil to the magnitude it reached, making matters worse anti Oil activists took over the Provincial Gov. by mistake
