Here's what I said_ if she could not do what the prime minister wanted done then it would be normal for her to tell him - I can't do that , and step down from the position so that the Prime Minister could appoint someone who could do it.
Instead she decided to go with a different plan, whereby she damaged the government she was working for and made dam sure that every employee of SNC would suffer the damage for the transgression of the few.
All based on her opinion,.
Again, I find it hilarious that you're soooo concerned about a few thousands jobs at SNC-Lavalin but didn't care about the tens of thousands of jobs lost in the oil sector. Not to mention all the downstream jobs.
Nope, Groper is screwed so apparently you're trying to run damage control for him on here.
I guess maybe the next time some progtard leader gets in power they'll make sure they don't fill cabinet appointments based on quotas instead of knowledge, skill and ability. Because there's only two reasons Groper would make her the AG. 1) She was truly qualified, which means her opinion on the matter carries far more weight than your pathetic bleating. Or 2)Groper thought it would be just so groovy and progressive of himself to appoint her purely because she would not only be the first woman to hold that position, she would also be the first FN to as well.
So the question you need to ask yourself is, was she actually qualified to be the AG or did Groper simply give her the position because he thought it'd make himself look good to Canada and the world?
Of course none of this would have anything to do with the fact that Quebec's pension fund has a 20% stake in SNC-Lavalin. Nahhhh. That can't be it. They also do a LOT of work for the Saudis, which would certainly explain why we still get oil from them and why it's not subject to carbon taxation. Just think of the jobs that would be created if we quit buying foreign oil altogether. Make those comparatively few jobs at SNC look like chump change.
