Yep, and just like Roy Moore, after the Democrats have done their damage watch how quickly the charges and the story dries up and blows away.
What's interesting is all the ALT-left Canadians being so goddam sure Kavanaugh is guilty based purely on unfounded allegations and yet think Trudeau, the admitted sexual assaulter, still has the moral mandate to be PM. So, unfounded allegations means a judge can't sit on the SC and rule on cases and interpret the law, but a known and admitted sexual assaulter in a position to MAKE laws is fine, as long as it's Trudeau.
Gotta love the gross hypocrisy of the ALT-left.
That's true. What's uproarious to me is the Canadian SHITHEAD-right think Trudeuabama should resign and Kavanaugh should be confirmed to the Supreme Court, and think anyone (other than their own village idiots) don't recognize their hypocrisy and whataboutery.

Anyone who think Ms Ford is some sort of Democratic plot is an idiot.

Personally, I think Ford is bonkers.

But I feel sorry for her.

She has been undermined and used by the Democratic Party, with absolutely no regard for her wishes, or her well-being.

Good Lord, man, she wanted to remain anonymous..........the Democrats could have had this investigated by the Committee in closed door session........instead they kept it secret until the moment it could be used to delay the nomination until after the November election. Then they double-crossed her and leaked the info.

She hired lawyers......recommended by Diane Feinstein. Unfortunately for Ford, her lawyers (acting pro bono), are not working for her but for the Democratic Party. How do I know? The Committee offered to fly to California to hold a session in secret with Dr. Ford. The lawyers repeatedly turned that offer down.

Now here's the rub.....they never told Dr. Ford of the offer. According to her, the first she heard of it was in the public Committee inquiry......as she testified in Committee.

They should be disbarred.

Both of these individuals, Ford and Kavanaugh, have been absolutely abused by the Democrats in the most egregious way.

The Democrats are Scum.

I don't think Trudeau should resign, I think the people should make him a drama teacher again in 2019.

I do think Kavanaugh should be confirmed. You're a lawyer, fer God's sake. Is there ANY evidence that Ford's accusation is accurate?

No.

You can not legitimately destroy a man's life merely on an accusation.

That is the whole crux of the entire issue. With one reservation...……………………..if he has been lying under oath that in itself should disqualify him.

I concur. With the usual caveats that this is NONE OF MY BUSINESS and I do not have, and do not want, a say, JT is a bad choice for the Liberals.

I disagree. This is not about he said/she said. This is not a trial. It is a job interview. Judge Kavanaugh's performance has been entirely unconvincing. Let me put it another way: he has lied under oath from beginning to end. And unlike you, I watched the original, pre-Ford hearings. This man is a liar, period. He is a political hack. Not worthy to be a Justice.

No.
You can not legitimately destroy a man's life merely on an accusation.
What in the Sam Hell are you talking about? If he is not confirmed, he will spend the rest of his life as a judge on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, often referred to as the "second Supreme Court," at a salary of $220,600 per annum. He'll have plenty of time to teach classes at any of Washington's many fine law schools. He'll have plenty of opportunity to coach girls' basketball teams, NONE of which he will have if he is elevated to the Supreme Court.

If that's "destruction," destroy me, baby! I beg you!

If Kavanaugh was telling the truth about what is important to him (he wasn't, but you seem to be pursuing the mad fantasy that he was), then refusing to confirm him for the Supreme Court would be an act of kindness.

Stated very eloquently and sadly patently true, career is of prime import family not so much. He's okay he has a job under his wing never mind the crap about a satifying family life that he previuosly enjoyed if of course his testimony is accurate. Ditto for the democrats pawn, her family life too will face challenge because of this he said she said manufactured drama.

Ford was lying through her teeth, she’s just another vagina hat wearing, Trump hater and will do anything to foil Trump’s endeavours.

Well that's just it, he probably didn't deserve the job right from the get go, but now that he's been put through all this sh*t, they probably owe him a lot so I'm guessing they might just end up giving him the job out of sympathy. Probably no one else will want it anyway! :) (If they can even find anyone more virtuous than Kavanaugh among the upper echelon)

“This whole two-week effort has been a calculated and orchestrated political hit fueled with apparent pent-up anger about President Trump and the 2016 election, fear that has been unfairly stoked about my judicial record, revenge on behalf of the Clintons, and millions of dollars in money from outside left-wing opposition groups,” Kavanaugh said, in an extraordinarily political statement for a Supreme Court nominee. He added: “This is a circus.”

And with that statement any semblance of impartiality went right out the window and for that alone Kavanaugh has proven that he is not fit to sit on the Supreme Court.

Telling the truth makes him extremely qualified to be on the court. This whole thread could easily be put in the TDS thread cuz that’s the impetus behind the Kavanaugh smear.

Mowich,

Doesn't this all ring a bell? Very much like Jacques Parizeau showing his true colours under pressure...blaming money and the ethnic vote for his loss in the Quebec referendum.

Judges must be and have to be seen as impartial, Walter. With his angry outburst against the Dems and in support of Trump, he showed himself to be partisan to the core. He is not fit to sit, Walter.

I wonder where they will find saints to fill the court , and if all these senators will pass muster in that regard?

But of course the Supreme Court has never been unbiased and has never had a political component .

Have to agree Canadian left is more upset over Kavanaugh than Justin (the groper) Trudeau

Kavanaugh's unproven allegations against him vs Trudeau's admission of guilt. And f*ck your whining about whataboutery.
As for me, I don't give a f*ck who's abusing women. If you're abusing women then you are a piece of shit. On the other hand, if you're a woman using sexual assault as a political weapon or for purposes of revenge, then you're an even bigger piece of shit.
Why didn't Ford bring any of this up the first two times Kavanaugh was appointed to the bench?

I bet the Dems. will march a new victim out by the end of the week and his argument will stand.

Nope we are pointing out JT's hypocrisy even after admitting to it (kinda), Kavanaugh has not flinched and has not been proven wrong yet.

But he's not wrong. Right from the get-go various Democrats said they would block ANY SC nomination by Trump. I didn't realize an SC nominee was supposed to be impartial while his character is being assassinated for purely political purposes.

This isn’t about Kavanaugh, do you think the same tactic was not planned for whoever the nominee was ?

Do you think Trump derangement is about Trump and it would be different if any of the sixteen of the best and brightest Republicans had won the nomination ? If you do you haven’t been paying attention.
