Welcome to the club Rachel...

Hours after a stunning Federal Court of Appeal decision in which Ottawa’s approval of the contentious Trans Mountain pipeline expansion was overturned, Premier Rachel Notley addressed Albertans about the latest hurdle to come before the project and dropped a political bombshell of her own.

“Signing on to the federal climate plan can’t happen without the Trans Mountain pipeline,” she told reporters at a new conference Thursday evening. “Today I’m announcing that with the Trans Mountain halted and the work on it halted, until the federal government gets its act together, Alberta is pulling out of the federal climate plan and let’s be clear, without Alberta, that plan isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.”

Notley said Alberta signing onto the plan was always contingent on the Trans Mountain pipeline project going forward.

AV is made by BP at Cherry Point in Blaine

Parkland cant keep up nowhere near what is posted below.

Airlines operating at YVR get most of their jet fuel from a 48-year-old pipeline owned by Kinder Morgan, but only about 40% of the jet fuel moving through that pipeline comes from the former Chevron refinery, which is now owned by Parkland Fuel Corp. (TSX:pKI). The rest comes by barge from the Cherry Point Refinery in Washington state, and by tanker truck

You Go Rachel. The majority of us here in the Heartland have supported Premier Notley and the people of Alberta during this long drawn out battle and are just as angered and pissed off by the court's decision especially in light of the fact that The Great Enabler and his party of virtue-signalling dolts had 3 years to fix the flaws but were far too busy trying to shove their gender-based policies down other countries throats. They ignored the problems at their peril and now will have to own this - as they should.

Absolutely. Now, all that's left is for Rachel to put on her big-girl panties and start putting some levies on the existing oil going through TMPL

I'd say Rachel had her 'big girl panties' firmly in place when she addressed the media yesterday, Cap. I do agree she now needs to impose the levies and the sooner the better.

YT NT and NU arent far behind.
NU has already told him to stick it where the sun don't shine. They came up with a viable emissions reduction program that did not require carbon taxation. PM Groper turned his nose up at it. Now, it seems to me that someone sooooo concerned about the climate wouldn't care about carbon taxation as long as the emissions reduction plan was workable.

SK NDP is happy. What exactly is are NDP philosophies across the board? It's bloody confusing.

Which provinces are left?

NL wants out too.
