I just did. I brought my young daughter to show her how the process works.

I figure millennials will be too lazy.

"What do you mean? I have to drive Mom's car up the street...show I.D...then mark an X on a piece of paper?? What is this, a Triathlon??"

My wife was recently hospitalized. She was on the Psychiatric Floor. Officials came and took down their votes. I thought it was strange...a bunch of loony-toons being allowed cast their ballots.

So what do you propose as the standard? A PhD? Something else?

Ummm... you voted, didn't you. :)

The standard should at least be that you're not bat sh!t crazy in my opinion.
If you live in an insane world, it would be impossible to not be bat shit crazy.

Wife: "You're a misogynist. You never vote for women candidates...always the men"

Me: "Not true at all! I once had to choose between two women candidates. I voted for the one with the biggest boobs!"

I think most of the patients on my wife's Psyche Floor voted for Pearl Harbour.

I don't think there will be a big turn out.

Probably helps Ford.

Hoid,

I thought you had me on 'ignore'.

Have you had a change of heart, and now you are secretly in love with me and infatuated by my every post?

My nineteen year old daughter just voted in her first election. I don't know how she voted (I never know how my wife votes, either) but we both insisted that the process is usually more important than the outcome. Our right to "throw the bums out" is precious and worth far more than a stack of "the bums" that we might elect.

I'm wondering if everyone who votes these days isn't a "loony toon"?

Well, maybe someone will take away your right to vote so that you don't have to worry your pretty little head about it. Your right to spout off whenever enters your head on the Internet will go the very next day.

Voting is good as long as the majority votes sensibly. We haven't seen that for many moons!

So, take their right to vote away! They don't do it properly! They vote in different results than what YOU want! How dare they?

I couldn't vote since I reside in Quebec. Depending on the local candidate, I probably would have leaned PC due to his promise to cut spending. My only concern would be that he cut revenue too deeply to undermine the spending cuts. Regardless though, deep cuts to spending are good in principle.

Where do I get the fake ID or at least the fake address?

Too bad though seeing how we're relocating to Ontario in the next month.

I hope Ford cuts wisely but cuts deep on the expense side. I hope he approaches tax cuts with more caution though.
