With the totals from the USDA as 3% of Spring Wheat planted vs 25% in the 30 year average, and corn at 5% vs 16% for the average and descriptions as "despicable" and a "snail's pace" for planting along with cold damage and drought across the central U.S. states they have described it as the "most stress" a wheat crop can handle. I've included a full timeline for crop losses moving forward to 2025 and this weeks incredible lack of planting. If this video doesn't not wake you up, nothing will.

Sweet! I'm going for lots of red spring. If they have drought it's going to pay for me.

What,s the conditions like in your area Petros? I,ve been looking at charts and from my perspective it dosn,t look good for much of the Canadian flatlands. They say a drop of 1 degree C will cut available acerage to 50 percent of normal and a drop of 2 degrees C will drop it another 50 percent. Sounds like a poor yeild to me for this season. Of course you know that you can have a cold as hell drought. good luck ol man

Above average precipitation last winter and normal is predicted for summer. Lots of sunshine and thunderstorms.

The only worries are the "great white combine"(hail) or frost in late August.
