Federal agents raid office of Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen

U.S. federal agents carrying court-authorized search warrants have seized documents from U.S. President Donald Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen.

That's according to a statement from Cohen's attorney, Stephen Ryan. He said the search warrants were executed by the office of the U.S. Attorney for Southern District of New York but they are "in part" related to special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.

Ryan said agents seized "protected attorney client communications." He did not elaborate on the contents. Ryan said the use of the search warrants is "completely inappropriate and unnecessary."

Cohen is Trump's longtime personal lawyer. He has been under heavy public scrutiny in recent months for his payment of $130,000 US to porn star Stormy Daniels, who claims to have had an affair with Trump in the mid-2000s.

That is precisely what it is like. Mueller is a lot like Elliot Ness, eh?
So the Trump reaction to the raid on Cohen's office, including the seizure of documents about the Stormy Daniels pay-off are "an attack our country".

Anything that makes Trump look bad is "anti-American".

Back in the 80s and 90s almost all Canadian federal office phone numbers were prefixed by 666. I started telling evangelicals that and after a while I noticed that many of the prefixes had changed, but the last time I looked, some of them were still 666.

Have you read the bit about how Michael Cohen's wife is from the Ukraine and he speaks rudimentary Russian?

Michael Cohen has worked very very hard to garner trumps business from purchasing a condo in a trump building to getting family to also purchasing in trumps buildings. Wonder if we'll hear about what they find in those files....

Mueller has absolutely nothing, so this is another step in the desperate search for anything.
