Omarosa Manigault Newman — one of President Donald Trump’s most prominent African-American supporters — was “physically dragged” from the White House after she was fired as a presidential advisor, according to reports.
A White House official told the Wall Street Journal that Manigault Newman’s departure was confrontational.
She was “physically dragged and escorted off the campus” Tuesday evening, the official told the Journal.
Sources also told American Urban Radio Networks that Chief of Staff John Kelly fired Manigault Newman and that her reaction was “very vulgar.”
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders says Manigault Newman resigned “to pursue other opportunities.”
Her resignation is effective Jan. 20, one year since Trump’s inauguration.
Manigault Newman’s exit comes at the start of what’s expected to be a round of departures heading into the new year.
The White House said last week that deputy national security adviser Dina Powell will leave the administration early next year.
Manigault Newman is a former contestant on Trump’s reality TV show “The Apprentice.” She joined the administration as director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison, working on outreach to various constituency groups.

RICHMOND, Va. — Outgoing Democratic Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe told a national television audience he’d knock President Donald Trump to the floor if the president ever tried to intimidate him.
During an interview Thursday on MSNBC’s “Hardball,” Chris Matthews asked McAuliffe how he would respond if Trump tried to intimidate him during a debate by hovering over him, as he did in a 2016 debate with Hillary Clinton, a close friend of McAuliffe’s.
McAuliffe responded: “You’d have to pick him up off the floor.”
McAuliffe, who was a top Democratic fundraiser before being elected governor in 2013, has been mentioned as a possible presidential candidate.
McAuliffe has been a vocal critic of Trump, particularly after Trump said “both sides” shared blame after white nationalists and counterprotestors clashed during a deadly rally in Charlottesville in August.

WASHINGTON — A former Trump campaign surrogate who now holds a job in the administration is apologizing after attacking a reporter on her personal Twitter account.
Lynne Patton, who heads a regional office of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, referred to reporter April Ryan as “Miss Piggy” in a tweet Wednesday. Ryan is the White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks and frequently appears on CNN.
Patton later tweeted, “Tonight, I made an inexcusable comment on my personal Twitter account that I deeply regret & deleted on my own volition.”
Patton is apologizing to Ryan, HUD Secretary Ben Carson and the “#trump family.”
Patton was an event planner for Donald Trump and his family before his 2016 presidential campaign.

OCALA, Fla. — A federal prison inmate in Florida who previously received five years for threatening to kill then-President Barack Obama and others has been sentenced to another four years and three months for threatening to kill President Donald Trump.
Court records show Richard Jeremy Ware was sentenced Monday. He pleaded guilty in October to making threats against the president.
Guards at a federal prison in central Florida say they intercepted the threatening letter Ware had tried to send out last March. Ware was nearing the end of his sentence and confirmed the letter was his.
In November 2011, court records show Ware mailed a letter threatening to kill Obama, then-first lady Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Chelsea Clinton and George Bush. Ware also threatened to sexually assault the Obamas’ two daughters.

NEW YORK — Donald and Melania Trump wanted to borrow a Van Gogh painting from a New York museum for their White House private quarters. Instead, The Washington Post reports, the Guggenheim Museum’s chief curator came up with a pointedly satirical counter-offer: a working solid-gold toilet made by an Italian artist.
The first couple had asked for Van Gogh’s Landscape With Snow, featuring a man and his dog.
Vincent Van Gogh’s “Landscape With Snow.”
Curator Nancy Spector has been openly critical of Trump in social media.
She emailed the White House Office of the Curator in September to say that the Trumps could borrow the toilet installation used by visitors in a museum restroom until mid-September. The 18-karat toilet , titled America, is Maurizio Cattelan’s jab at the nation’s greedier instincts. It has an estimated value topping US$1 million.
Spector included a photograph in her email, saying, “We are sorry not to be able to accommodate your original request, but remain hopeful that this special offer may be of interest.”
The toilet could be “a long-term loan,” she wrote. “It is, of course, extremely valuable and somewhat fragile, but we would provide all the instructions for its installation and care.”
The Post said the White House has stayed silent on the subject.
In a museum blog last year, the curator referred to Trump as “he of the eponymous gilded tower” — including Trump Tower on Fifth Ave. where he has a huge apartment and office. The president favours the colour gold, plating bathroom fixtures in his various homes with the precious metal and redecorating the Oval Office with gold-hued drapes.
The curator said his presidency has been “marked by scandal and defined by the deliberate rollback of countless civil liberties, in addition to climate-change denial that puts our planet in peril.”
The Guggenheim did not return an Associated Press request for comment.

WASHINGTON — Tickets inviting guests to President Donald Trump’s first official State of the Union address Tuesday had to be reissued after a misprint.
The tickets read, “Address to the Congress on the State of the Uniom.”
Lawmakers had fun with the glitch: “Looking forward to tomorrow’s State of the Uniom,” Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida tweeted with a picture of the invite.
Rep. Raul Grijalva of Arizona used the glitch to jab at the secretary of education: “Just received my ticket for the State of the Union. Looks like @BetsyDeVosEd was in charge of spell checking… #SOTUniom”
The House Sergeant at Arms is responsible for printing and distributing the tickets. An official said a correction was immediately made and all but about a dozen tickets have been exchanged.

SAN FRANCISCO — A federal appeals court has upheld an agreement requiring President Donald Trump to pay $25 million to settle lawsuits over his now-defunct Trump University.
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday rejected an effort by one student, Sherri Simpson, to opt out of the deal and pursue her own lawsuit. The move would have derailed the settlement.
A three-judge panel of the court ruled unanimously that U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel had ample reason to approve the settlement.
The settlement resolved lawsuits that claimed the university failed to deliver on promises to teach students how to be successful in real estate.
The suits had dogged the Republican businessman throughout the presidential campaign.
An email to an attorney for Simpson was not immediately returned.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A North Carolina man who was one of the faces of a dating service for fans of the president has a felony conviction for sex with a child.
News outlets reported Monday that visitors to the Trump Dating website were greeted with images of Jodi and William Barrett Riddleberger. The married couple are conservative activists involved in a Tea Party-inspired political action committee. Their exact role with the dating site catering to supporters of President Donald Trump is unclear.
State records show William Riddleberger was convicted in 1995 of indecent liberties with a child stemming from filming sex with a 15-year-old girl. He was then 25.
He told WRAL-TV that he’s “already paid (his) debt” for that charge. Records show he didn’t serve prison time.

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — An Illinois man will get mental health treatment and substance abuse counselling after pleading guilty to making online threats against President Donald Trump.
Joseph Lynn Pickett of Edwardsville was also ordered to spend six months behind bars for the June threats, though he’s already served the time since his arrest last year.
Pickett pleaded guilty in an agreement with prosecutors in October, after authorities said he posted several times online that he wanted to assassinate Trump.
The posts included frequent profanity and detailed death threats. Pickett also taunted federal authorities when he wasn’t immediately arrested.
His co-workers reported the threatening posts to the Secret Service. He was later arrested.
Under terms of his sentencing last week, Pickett also will be on supervised release for three years.

WASHINGTON — The White House was on lockdown for about an hour Friday after a passenger vehicle struck a security barrier. Local media reported that the driver was armed.
The U.S. Secret Service tweeted that the vehicle “did not breach the security barrier of the White House complex.” No shots were fired during the incident, the Secret Service said.
The agency added that the 35-year-old female driver was “immediately apprehended” after the incident on the southeast side of the complex, near the Old Executive Office Building. The driver was identified as a resident of La Vergne, Tennessee, and as someone the Secret Service has had previous encounters with near the White House, “resulting in numerous arrests for a variety of criminal violations.”
Citing a Metropolitan Police Department report, Washington’s WTTG-TV identified the driver as Jessica Ford and said she was holding a pistol while still behind the steering wheel.
The Secret Service said the woman was charged Friday with numerous criminal violations and turned over to the District of Columbia police department.
Witnesses saw a commotion on the White House grounds as security officers responded.
President Donald Trump had been hosting Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull at the White House. Turnbull remained at the White House as the incident was being investigated.
The Secret Service said no law enforcement personnel were injured in the incident.
Trump praised the agency’s handling of the situation in a tweet Friday afternoon: “Thank you to the great men and women of the United States @SecretService for a job well done!”

Trump: 'Nation is Heartbroken' After Shooting 1:56
WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump, who’s been highly critical of the law enforcement response to the Florida school shootings, says he would have rushed in, unarmed, if he’d been there.
Speaking to a roomful of governors at the White House, Trump said Monday, “You don’t know until you’re tested, but I think I really believe I’d run in there even if I didn’t have a weapon, and I think most of the people in this room would have done that, too.”

Trump’s heroic hypothetical vividly demonstrated his frustration at the way the deadly events unfolded at the school in Parkland, Florida.
His session with the governors, in Washington for their annual winter meeting, was heavily focused on finding ways to address the massacre of 17 students and teachers in a Valentine’s Day shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. It was the latest gathering in which the president spoke of a need to enact new gun-control measures as well as act to improve school safety.
You don't know until you're tested but I think I really believe I'd run in there even if I didn't have a weapon and I think most of the people in this room would have done that, too.
President Donald Trump
Trump said his recent calls for the arming of many teachers wasn’t a universal one, instead likening it to taking advantage of educators with athletic talents to provide additional protection within schools.
“The headline was ’Trump wants all teachers to have guns. Trump wants teachers to have guns.’ I don’t want teachers to have guns,” the president said. “I want highly trained people that have a natural talent, like hitting a baseball or hitting a golf ball or putting.”
Trump Says Teachers with 'Talent' Can Carry Guns 2:39
As for his statement about what he would have done personally, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, “He was saying that he would be a leader and would want to take a courageous action, and a lot of the individuals that helped protect others that day weren’t carrying firearms, which I think shows that you can be helpful in that process.”
White House: Some Teachers 'Desire' Being Armed 1:39
Trump said anew that he was disappointed in officers who didn’t stop the gunman, calling their performance “frankly disgusting.”
“They really weren’t exactly Medal of Honor winners,” Trump said.
He renewed his criticism of former Broward County Sheriff’s deputy Scot Peterson, though Peterson’s lawyer said in Florida that accusations are untrue that he acted unprofessionally and cowardly during the shooting.

Lawyer Joseph DiRuzzo said Monday that the school resource officer didn’t enter the high school because it sounded like the shooting was happening outside the building.
Trump wasn’t impressed.
“Look what he did in Broward where he thought he was probably a brave guy, but he wasn’t a brave guy under pressure,” the president said. “He choked and other people choked. A lot of people choked in that case.”

Belarusian ‘sex expert’ jailed in Thailand claims she has information linking Trump, Russia
Washington Post

Anastasia Vashukevich (Instagram)
MOSCOW – A self-described sex expert whose videos highlighted the ties between one of Russia’s richest men and the Kremlin has been jailed in Thailand and is calling for U.S. help, claiming she has information about links between Russia and President Donald Trump.
Anastasia Vashukevich, an escort-service worker from Belarus who catapulted to a certain measure of fame after filming a yacht trip with Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska and Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Prikhodko, was detained in Thailand over the weekend in a police raid on her “sex training” seminar.
While still in custody on Tuesday, she published Instagram videos asking U.S. journalists and intelligence agencies to help her.
Deripaska, with whom Vashukevich said she had an affair, used to employ former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort. But Vashukevich, better known by the alias Nastya Rybka, provided no evidence on Tuesday to back up the claim that she had new information to offer related to the investigation into Russian election interference.
A post to her Instagram account showed her sitting on the floor of what was described as a Thai jail and said she was sick.
“I am the only witness and the missing link in the connection between Russia and the U.S. elections – the long chain of Oleg Deripaska, Prikhodko, Manafort, and Trump,” Vashukevich said in a live Instagram video Tuesday, apparently shot as she was driven in an open-air police van through the Thai resort city of Pattaya. “In exchange for help from U.S. intelligence services and a guarantee of my safety, I am prepared to provide the necessary information to America or to Europe or to the country which can buy me out of Thai prison.”
Vashukevich said in her video that she had already given an interview to U.S. broadcaster NBC. Representatives for Vashukevich and Deripaska didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment. A Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson declined to comment.
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny made Vashukevich famous last month after he broadcast old footage from her Instagram account showing an August 2016 yacht trip with Deripaska and Prikhodko. Navalny used the footage to allege that Deripaska, a metals magnate, had bribed Prikhodko, one of Russia’s most influential government officials, with the luxury getaway accompanied by women from an escort service.
Navalny also speculated that Deripaska and Prikhodko may have served as a link between the Kremlin and the Trump campaign in 2016, though Vashukevich’s videos offered no proof. According to emails described to The Washington Post last year, Manafort – who once worked for Deripaska – directed an associate to offer Deripaska “private briefings” about Trump’s presidential campaign. A Deripaska spokeswoman said he was never offered such briefings.
Prikhodko called Navalny a “political loser” whose investigation combined “the possible and the impossible.” Deripaska said Navalny’s “allegations have nothing to do with reality” and sued Vashukevich for violating his privacy. A court ordered Instagram to remove some of Vashukevich’s posts.
According to her Instagram account, Vashukevich was in Dubai when Navalny’s video came out and then traveled to the Thai beach resort Pattaya. On Sunday, according to Russian news reports, Thai police raided a sex seminar for Russian tourists in which Vashukevich was participating. Attendees paid more than $600 each for a five-day course, Russian media said.
A video from a Thai morning news broadcast showed the police operation. Some of those detained were working without a permit, one of the TV hosts said. “Why do they have to use Thailand to teach this course?” he added.
Russian embassy consul Vladimir Sosnov told the RIA Novosti Russian state news agency that Vashukevich and several others had been detained for being part of an “illegal training session” and that she and her companions would be put on trial and deported. But Vashukevich claimed on Tuesday that she’d been arrested on orders of Russian officials as payback for her video of Deripaska and Prikhodko and that she expected to be sent to Russia, where she’d be jailed again.
“Please USA save us from Russia!” said a post in English on her Instagram account. “All this cases are political repressions!”
Coincidentally or not, one of Russia’s most important security and intelligence officials was also in Thailand on Tuesday.
Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, former head of the Federal Security Service, held talks in Bangkok Tuesday on the security of Russian tourists, RIA reported.

JERUSALEM — An Israeli organization said Wednesday it has minted a coin bearing President Donald Trump’s image to honour his recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
The Mikdash Educational Center said the “Temple Coin” features Trump alongside King Cyrus, who 2,500 years ago allowed Jews to return to Jerusalem from their exile in Babylon.
Rabbi Mordechai Persoff said that Trump, like Cyrus, made a “big declaration that Jerusalem is the capital of the holy people.”

His organization minted 1,000 biblical half-shekel coins that can be purchased with a minimum donation of $50. The coin cannot be used as currency.
Mikdash bills itself as a non-profit educational and religious organization. The donations will “help spread the light of Jerusalem and the spirit of the Holy Temple throughout the world,” it said.

WORCESTER, Mass. — A Massachusetts man was charged Thursday with sending threatening letters with white powder to five people, including one to Donald Trump Jr. that landed his wife, Vanessa, in the hospital.
Daniel Frisiello, 24, was arrested at the Beverly home he shares with his parents and is being held behind bars pending a detention hearing on Monday.
Daniel Frisiello (Facebook)
Authorities say Frisiello sent five envelopes early last month filled with profanity-laced letters and white substances, which turned out not to be hazardous.
The letter to the president’s son was opened by Vanessa Trump on Feb. 12. She was briefly hospitalized after she called 911 and reported she was coughing and felt nauseous.
The Trump letter included a message that said: “You make the family idiot, Eric, look smart.”
“This is the reason why people hate you, so you are getting what you deserve,” the message said, according to court documents.
Other recipients were Debbie Stabenow, the Democratic U.S. senator from Michigan; Nicola Hanna, an interim U.S. attorney in California; and Michele Dauber, a Stanford University law professor who has promoted the effort to recall Judge Aaron Persky.
Persky was criticized in 2016 after he sentenced former swimmer Brock Turner to six months in jail for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman behind a trash bin on campus near a fraternity house.
The message Dauber received said: “Since you are going to disrobe Persky, I am going to treat you like ’Emily Doe.’ Let’s see what kind of sentencing I get for being a rich white male.”
The woman who was sexually assaulted in 2016 was known as Emily Doe to protect her identity.
Another letter containing powder was sent to Antonio Sabato Jr., the Republican former underwear model and soap opera actor who is running for a U.S. House seat in California.
Frisiello showed no emotion as he was led into the federal court in Worcester wearing a red polo shirt with his hands cuffed and ankles shackled.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Scott Garland said family members told officials Frisiello may be on medications for suicidal thoughts. Relatives of Frisiello who were in the courtroom declined to speak to reporters.
Frisiello’s attorney said after the hearing that the man has some “issues” and “difficulties” and has been on medication his entire life, but declined to elaborate. His lawyer said Frisiello would plead not guilty.
“I’m optimistic and confident that when all of the facts play out, there will be a very good understanding of what transpired and I’m expecting the best outcome,” attorney Scott Gleason said.
Frisiello could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted of mailing a threat to a federal official.
Hoax attacks using white powder play on fears that date to 2001, when letters containing deadly anthrax were mailed to news organizations and the offices of two U.S. senators. Those letters killed five people.
Frisiello worked for Catholic Charities of Boston’s Peabody child care centre. He was placed on leave immediately after the FBI informed the organization of his arrest, a spokeswoman said.
Duane Anderson, chairman of the Beverly Democratic City Committee, told The Salem News that Frisiello attended its meetings as recently as last month. Anderson said Frisiello was “very quiet” but “always very polite.”
Authorities described in an affidavit how they were led to Frisiello.

Letter to Donald Trump Jr. said ’You’re an awful person’ — contained cornstarch
A “glitter bomb” sent to Dauber contained a message similar to the message contained in the white powder envelope she was sent, the affidavit said.
A “glitter bomb” is a joke in which someone sends an envelope containing glitter to someone else that then spills out and creates a mess upon opening.
The owner of the glitter-bomb company confirmed that the person who ordered it was named Daniel Frisiello.
Investigators also went through Frisiello’s trash and found discarded paper that still had some similar typewritten threats on it.
Associated Press reporter Mark Pratt contributed to this report.

Trump allows scheduled release of JFK records

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump says he doesn’t plan to block the scheduled release of thousands of never publicly seen government documents related to President John F. Kennedy’s assassination.
“Subject to the receipt of further information,” he wrote in a Saturday morning tweet, “I will be allowing, as President, the long blocked and classified JFK FILES to be opened.”
The National Archives has until Thursday to disclose the remaining files related to Kennedy’s 1963 assassination. The trove is expected to include more than 3,000 documents that have never been seen by the public and more than 30,000 that have been previously released but with redactions.
Congress mandated in 1992 that all assassination documents be released within 25 years, but Trump has the power to block them on the grounds that making them public would harm intelligence or military operations, law enforcement or foreign relations.
“Thank you. This is the correct decision. Please do not allow exceptions for any agency of government,” tweeted Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics and author of a book about Kennedy, who has urged the president to release the files. “JFK files have been hidden too long.”
The anticipated release has had scholars and armchair detectives buzzing. But it’s unlikely the documents will contain any big revelations on a tragedy that has stirred conspiracy theories for decades, Judge John Tunheim told The Associated Press last month. Tunheim was chairman of the independent agency in the 1990s that made public many assassination records and decided how long others could remain secret.
Sabato and other JFK scholars believe the trove of files may, however, provide insight into assassin Lee Harvey Oswald’s trip to Mexico City weeks before the killing, during which he visited the Soviet and Cuban embassies. Oswald’s stated reason for going was to get visas that would allow him to enter Cuba and the Soviet Union, according to the Warren Commission, the investigative body established by President Lyndon B. Johnson, but much about the trip remains unknown.
Longtime Trump friend Roger Stone, who wrote a book alleging that Johnson was the driving force behind Kennedy’s assassination, had personally urged the president to make the files public, he told far-right conspiracy theorist and radio show host Alex Jones this past week.
“Yesterday, I had the opportunity to make the case directly to the president of the United States by phone as to why I believe it is essential that he release the balance of the currently redacted and classified JFK assassination documents,” Stone said, adding that “a very good White House source,” but not the president, had told him the Central Intelligence Agency, “specifically CIA director Mike Pompeo, has been lobbying the president furiously not to release these documents.”
“Why? Because I believe they show that Oswald was trained, nurtured and put in place by the Central Intelligence Agency. It sheds very bad light on the deep state,” he said.
After the president announced his decision, Stone tweeted: “Yes ! victory !”
The files that were withheld in full were those the Assassination Records Review Board deemed “not believed relevant,” Tunheim said. Its members sought to ensure they weren’t hiding any information directly related to Kennedy’s assassination, but there may be nuggets of information in the files that they didn’t realize were important two decades ago, he said.
“There could be some jewels in there because in our level of knowledge in the 1990s is maybe different from today,” Tunheim said.
The National Archives in July published online more than 440 never-before-seen assassination documents and thousands of others that had been released previously with redactions.
Among those documents was a 1975 internal CIA memo that questioned whether Oswald became motivated to kill Kennedy after reading an AP article in a newspaper that quoted Fidel Castro as saying “U.S. leaders would be in danger if they helped in any attempt to do away with leaders of Cuba.”

It was Cubans and Russians that backed Oswald.

Had they said it was Russia and Cuba the outrage would have led to nuclear war.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump says he thinks it’s great that China’s president now holds that office for life and muses that maybe the U.S. will do the same someday.
Trump’s remarks came during a luncheon for Republican donors Saturday at his South Florida estate. CNN reported the remarks based on a recording it obtained.
Chinese President Xi Jinping recently consolidated power. Trump told the gathering: “He’s now president for life. President for life. And he’s great.” Trump added: “I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll give that a shot someday.”
Trump criticized his Democratic presidential opponent Hillary Clinton, repeated his view about “a rigged system,” and called the invasion of Iraq “the single worst decision ever made.” He referred to former President George W. Bush as “another real genius.”

SALT LAKE CITY — A plan to name a Utah highway after President Donald Trump is getting a nod of approval from Utah lawmakers.
Republican sponsor Rep. Mike Noel said Monday he wants to recognize Trump’s decision to shrink two national monuments that had been fiercely opposed by state leaders. They say the designations wrongly limited what can be done with the land.
The Sierra Club, though, says Trump’s move was an attack on protections for public lands with rich natural and archaeological resources. The organization was among those saying Trump isn’t worthy of the honour.
The proposal would rename National Parks Highway, which overlaps several roads to connect well-known parks like Zion, Arches and Bryce.
If the bill becomes law, the name Donald J. Trump National Parks Highway would appear on road signs and maps.

Infowars sued by Pepe the Frog cartoonist over poster featuring character

The cartoonist who created Pepe the Frog has sued conspiracy-promoting website Infowars for selling a poster copying the character, which became hijacked by racist internet trolls and far-right extremists.
The copyright infringement lawsuit, filed Monday in Los Angeles, is the second that California-based cartoonist Matt Furie has brought as part of a legal campaign to reclaim his creation.
Infowars’ website is the online platform for right-wing radio host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. Furie’s lawsuit says he didn’t authorize the site to sell a poster that depicts the anthropomorphic frog alongside images of Jones, President Donald Trump, far-right agitator Milo Yiannopoulos and other right-wing figures.
I think the frog is stupid looking. I think it's a dumb meme.
Alex Jones
Jones described the lawsuit as a “publicity stunt.” Although he stressed that Infowars didn’t produce the poster, Jones said he views it as an expression of political speech protected by the First Amendment.
“My listeners understand this is all frivolous,” Jones told The Associated Press. “We don’t have any choice but to fight back, and the law is on our side.”
Infowars is selling the Pepe-adorned “MAGA” poster for $29.95 and says it was created by “renowned artist and patriot” Jon Allen. Jones said Infowars has sold about 1,000 of the posters but added that it’s hardly one of the site’s most popular items.

“I think the frog is stupid looking. I think it’s a dumb meme,” Jones said.
Last June, Furie launched a “Save Pepe” crowdfunding campaign to raise money for a new comic book. He also enlisted help from attorneys to pursue legal action against people who appeared to be profiting off Pepe’s image without his permission.
“I think there has been progress,” said Louis Tompros, one of Furie’s lawyers. “It is a little bit like whack-a-mole, candidly.”
In October, Furie sued a woman in Kansas City, Missouri, for allegedly selling oil paintings featuring Pepe, including one in which a masked Pepe is holding a rifle in front of what appears to be the White House. That suit is still pending.
Tompros said white nationalist Richard Spencer and other far-right fringe figures have complied with written requests to stop using Pepe’s likeness without permission. However, Tompros said Furie’s attorneys didn’t email and mail requests for Infowars to remove the poster from its online store until after they filed the lawsuit.
Everybody knows I'm not a white supremacist. I'm not into that crap. This is just purely harassment.
Alex Jones
Furie’s “chill frog-dude” debuted in a 2006 comic book called “Boy’s Club” and became a popular canvas for benevolent internet memes. But the user-generated mutations became increasingly hateful and ubiquitous more than a year before the 2016 presidential election.
Furie has said he was horrified to see his creation become an online mascot for white nationalists, neo-Nazis and other right-wing extremists. The Anti-Defamation League branded Pepe as a hate symbol in September 2016 and promoted Furie’s efforts to reclaim the character.
Jones said he views the “MAGA” poster as symbol of the 2016 campaign.
“Everybody knows I’m not a white supremacist. I’m not into that crap,” Jones said. “This is just purely harassment.”
Parent companies Infowars LLC and Free Speech Systems LLC are named as defendants in the lawsuit.

Jailed sex 'coach' offers Trump secrets for asylum

Anastasia Vashukevich (Instagram)
Anastasia Vashukevich calls herself a “coach”.
But her drills and skills are of the carnal kind.
Vashukevich, 21, was part of a group of 10 Russians busted in Thailand who are accused of running a “sex training” class for their compatriots.
Her boss is Alex Lesley, a self-described “sex guru.”
(Instagram)
But the arrests of the sex svengali and his bevy of beauties has triggered an international firestorm over what one hard-working harlot has said about U.S. President Donald Trump.
The Belorussian babe — whose nomme du sex is Nastya Rybka — says she has proof the Russians interfered in the 2016 U.S. election.
But she’ll need political asylum from Uncle Sam to blab.
“I am ready to help with an investigation if they help us get out of here,” she told CNN.
Vashukevich claims she has white-hot evidence in the forum of audio recordings and snapshots of meetings.
“They had a plan for the election,” the sex coach says.
So just who the hell is Nastya Rybka?
She claims to be the former mistress of Russian Oligarch Oleg Deripaska. He is tight pals with strongman Vladimir Putin and is denying any involvement with the slinky sexpot.

“This is clearly an attempt by Anastasia Vashukevich (AKA Nastya Rybka) to politicize the accusations of the Thai police. There have been endless fictitious stories told by her,” a spokesman said.
But the Russian beauty claims:
She witnessed meetings in 2016 and 2017 between her billionaire beau and three unidentified Americans
Deripaska denies being the “back channel” to the Trump campaign.
Vashukevich said she has photos of the meetings — along with audio recordings.
She has already published footage in 2016 of a meeting on a yacht between Deripaska and Russian deputy prime minister Sergey Prikhodko.
Her reported boyfriend is a former business associate of onetime Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort.
She first entered Putin’s inner circle at the age of 19 when she and a number of other high-end escorts joined the billionaire and Prikhodko on a yacht trip off the coast of Norway.
But Vashukevich eventually fell under the influence of sex guru Lesley — an arch-rival of Putin.
In Thailand, the troop of randy Russians promised to make carnal wishes come true for their well-heeled countrymen.
Her Instagram account is sprinkled with snapshots of her and pal Maria Skulbeda frolicking on the Southeast Asian beaches.
Lesley had already written two torrid tomes in Russian that were bestsellers, Life Without Panties and The Game of Master and Huntress.
But his acolytes are terrified for their lives if the Thais boot them out of the country and send them back to Russia where their fate is uncertain.

Skulbeda — one of Lesley’s followers — was desperate to meet with her jailed friends last week.
She called lothario Lesley a “sexual revolutionary” calling carnal cult believers in “freedom, sex and love” with their world revolving around seduction.
“I am an employee, I am a friend, I am a lover,” the 21-year-old said.
She added that billionaire Deripaska was smitten with Vashukevich.
Free love or not, the Kremlin is taking a dim view of the matter and recent events show that Putin is ready to ice anyone who gets in the way.
A former Russian spy and his daughter were poisoned last week in the the UK and all fingers are pointing east.
Now, the free love floozy is looking for a get out of jail free card.
“I’m ready to give you all the missing puzzle pieces, support them with videos and audios, regarding the connections of our respected lawmakers with Trump, Manafort and the rest. I know a lot. I’m waiting for your offers and I’m waiting for you in a Thai prison,” she said.
