TORONTO — Donald Trump is cutting Shania Twain some slack, even though he says the Canadian singer “made a mistake” when she backed away from supporting him.
The U.S. president called in to Fox News morning show “Fox and Friends” on Thursday and responded to Twain’s recent apology to her fans.
“Shania, who I think is terrific, made a mistake by saying, ‘I wish I didn’t go public with (supporting Trump),”‘ he said.
“We know how she feels.”
Trump’s comments were part of a sprawling half-hour phone interview that touched on James Comey, French president Emmanuel Macron and rapper Kanye West.
The hosts asked how he felt about a series of tweets made by Twain earlier this week where she distanced herself from the president.

Twain made the statement after an interview with British newspaper The Guardian quoted her saying she would have voted for Trump because “even though he was offensive, he seemed honest.”
The comment was met with both praise and condemnation online, but led the Timmins, Ont. singer to issue a swift apology saying the question caught her off guard and she should have offered more context.
Twain says she is “passionately against discrimination of any kind,” and she does “not hold any common moral beliefs with the current president.”
Trump suggested that Twain shouldn’t have to worry about losing fans by supporting him.
“People have done that, and they’re amazed at what happens to their business,” he added.
“We have tremendous support. We have tremendous fans.”

I stand by my assertion that too many black people simply do not know how to deal with cops. The best example is that of professor Gates- the black guy who got arrested early in the first term of Barak Obama. There was a big fuss and to quell the complaints, Obama invited the cop and Gates to the White House to make peace and smooth things over and sadly Obama did NEITHER! He simply PROVED that black people- even a President- don’t understand their civil rights and obligations!

Consider: Gates is wealthy and a little famous. He is the author of “The Classic Slave Narratives”- a book documenting the life of some slaves living in the American South. The book was well researched and well received. Gates was already a history professor at some well known university and lived in an upscale neighbourhood someplace outside Washington DC. It is one of those neighbourhoods with houses set well back from the road and with lots of high hedges and such. The sort of place where few people apparently know their neighbours.

One weekday morning, Gates was working from home and went out at mid morning to collect his mail. A random gust of wind blew his front door shut and it locked and there he was on the doorstep with no keys. And there was nobody home- wife gone for the day, kids in school etc.

So a very angry and frustrated Gates starts circling the house, looking for a way in. Maybe a window lock he can force open , a back door carelessly left unlocked. But there is nothing to be seen and he ends up back at the front door. Gates does not know that a near sighted neighbor has been watching him and does not recognize him as her neighbor. All the old girl can see is some guy trying to break into the house- and that IS what Gates is trying to do! So she phones the cops and reports a prowler and a cruiser with 2 cops arrives at the scene.

The 2 cops immediately spot the `prowler` trying to jimmy open the front door and they approach and ask the usual questions: “who are you” ; “where do you live” ; “why are you trying to break into this house”; show us ID”? Obvious questions of a SPECIFIED legal sort!

And Gates, being an angry black guy- and yeah, being locked out of your own house will provoke a guy- with lots of book learning and NO street smarts at all answers back unwisely! Any white guy in such a situation is smart enough to know that an answer such as : mind your own `fcuking` business will not fly! But that is Gates response and he sticks to it! Because of course the cops ARE taking care of business. They have a prowler on their hands and are LEGALLY required to get an explanation- its their JOB to protect people and property!

So they get uncooperative Gates in handcuffs and search him and he has no ID on him and no way to get into the house to retrieve it and prove that he has a right to fiddle with his door locks if it suits him. And the cops cannot simply let Gates go because he WAS CAUGHT red handed trying to break into a house and has offered no explanation and no identification- he has only been loud mouthed and obnoxious! So Gates gets a free ride down to the local station and is held there till he can be identified and then released once he can prove that the whole mess is a screwup brought on by a random gust of wind and his own stupidity!

If Gates had immediately told the cops who he was and that he had locked himself out, the cops could have maybe looked up his drivers license, credit cards or other documents and maybe got some proof of identity that way and it would have simplified things. But with Gates being a belligerent and uncooperative prick telling cops nothing, he made the cops do things the hard way. The cops cannot simply let the un-identified prowler/suspect go just because HE demands it! And some knuckleheads want to call this an act of police bigotry? HAHAHAHAHA!

Then, to make matters worse, the numbskull Obama has to get involved and act as if it is the cops who have screwed up by arresting a prowler! The cops caught a prowler red handed, one who refused to identify himself and was belligerent and refused to even give his name. Those cops did not know or care whose property they were defending- they were focused only on the attempted break in. Gates got exactly the same treatment as any other suspected felon and ought to be grateful the cops are doing their duty in guarding HIS property! Though cops may not be so quick to rush to that property to answer any future calls since the owner is such a troublesome jackass!

Gates was the author of his own misfortune and for him or Obama to say otherwise is clear proof that too many black people do not understand their rights and civil obligations!

SALT LAKE CITY — A Utah junior high teacher is on leave after she instructed her students to read the lyrics of an Eminem song that slams President Donald Trump.
Park City School District spokeswoman Melinda Colton said Tuesday that the teacher was put on leave last week after a handful of students and parents complained.
Colton says the veteran teacher at Treasure Mountain Junior High School was trying to teach her students about biases in society when she had them read the lyrics of “Like Home” by Eminem during class two weeks ago.
But Colton says the lyrics and political message in the song weren’t appropriate.
Colton declined to give the teacher’s name to protect her privacy. A decision about whether the teacher will come back next school year will be made after a full review of the incident.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump announced Monday he is directing the Pentagon to create a new “Space Force” as an independent military service branch aimed at ensuring American supremacy in space — though he may have limited power to develop a new military command.
While Trump has previously talked about his desire for a space unit, he seemed to take those musings one step further, specifically ordering the Pentagon to begin the creation of a sixth branch of the American armed forces.
“When it comes to defending America, it is not enough to merely have an American presence in space. We must have American dominance in space,” Trump said during remarks at the White House. “We are going to have the Air Force and we are going to have the Space Force, separate but equal.”
Turning to seek out Marine Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Trump said, “General Dunford, if you would carry that assignment out, I would be very greatly honoured also …Where’s General Dunford? General? Got it?”
Dunford appeared to acknowledge the order, responding, “we got it.” But the directive seemed to take defence officials by surprise. Creating a new joint military command is largely the purview of Congress, which would have to provide the authority and any funding or shifting of money to a new unit.
Pentagon spokeswoman Dana White said that the department understands the president’s guidance, and is working on the matter while taking into consideration the implications for intelligence operations for the other services. “Working with Congress, this will be a deliberate process with a great deal of input from multiple stakeholders,” she said.
A senior congressional aide said that Trump’s order is consistent with efforts by members of Congress over the past two years to find a way to dedicate additional resources to the country’s warfighting in space. But the issue has been contested, and even Defence Secretary Jim Mattis expressed some early reluctance to creating a new military service citing the expense and broader effort to integrate warfighting.
The Defence Department is already in the middle of a congressionally-mandated review of the space force issue. The study began in March, with an interim review due in August and a final report due December 31. It’s not clear if the president’s comments Monday were meant to override or influence that study.
Decades ago, the military deemed space a critical war-fighting domain, creating the Colorado-based Air Force Space Command in 1982. It includes more than 36,000 personnel around the world that provide space and cyber capabilities for the Defence Department. And the Space and Missile Systems Center at Los Angeles Air Force Base in California, designs and buys most of the Pentagon’s space systems, while also overseeing satellite and other aircraft launches.
In addition, a number of federal defence agencies control portions of the space program, including NASA and the National Reconnaissance Office, which develops and operates surveillance spacecraft and satellites for intelligence gathering.
In a March document outlining the review, the Pentagon said it has already made organizational changes to beef up the stature of the space force, but is reviewing others. The document sent to Congress said the review will look at research, capabilities, acquisition and joint warfighting needs, and will assess “whether the Space Corps concept should be implemented.”
The establishment of an independent space force was mentioned by Trump in a March speech to service members in California, but it has faced opposition since it could create an expensive new headquarters bureaucracy and trigger complex and divisive battles between the agencies that currently control part of the space mission. So far, the Pentagon doesn’t have any cost estimates for the development of a new command, or any description of how it would be set up or its impact on other defence and intelligence agencies.
Ever since the Space Age started with the Soviet Union’s launch of Sputnik, there has been a military and national security aspect to space, even though there are treaties and a United Nations committee that explicitly talk about keeping space a place of peace. In the 1950s, President Dwight Eisenhower established two separate space programs — a civilian one that became NASA, and a military one.
Trump more broadly envisioned a bright future for the U.S. space program, pledging to revive the country’s flagging efforts, return to the moon and eventually send a human mission that would reach Mars. The president framed space as a national security issue, saying he does not want “China and Russia and other countries leading us.” While the U.S. has dominated in space since the 1969 moon landing, China is making strong headway, while Russia is in decline.
“My administration is reclaiming America’s heritage as the world’s greatest spacefaring nation,” Trump said in the East Room, joined by members of his space council. “The essence of the American character is to explore new horizons and to tame new frontiers.”
The president also used the White House event to establish a new policy for reducing satellite clutter in space. The policy calls for providing a safe and secure environment up in orbit, as satellite traffic increases. It also sets up new guidelines for satellite design and operation, to avoid collisions and spacecraft breakups.
The council’s executive secretary, Scott Pace, told reporters before the meeting that space is becoming increasingly congested and current guidelines are inadequate to address the challenge.
Trump also encouraged SpaceX, Blue Origin and other nontraditional aerospace companies led by wealthy U.S. entrepreneurs to beat NASA to Mars.
“Just go ahead, if you beat us to Mars, we’ll be very happy, and you’ll be even more famous,” he said. “As long as it’s an American rich person, that’s good, OK? They can beat us. We’ll save a little money, and they can beat us, and we’re taking full credit for it, don’t worry about it.”

So......what you are telling us is that Trump has recognized that all those Chinese and Russian satellites floating around up there- which were designed SPECIFICALLY to be crashed into Yankee satellites in order to blind them in war time- have been recognized as a danger to Yankees!


And Trump now wants a way to both protect HIS intelligence gathering satellites AND to have a way to destroy enemy intelligence gathering satellites!


For the last 40 years- China has been building its forces so it can dominate the eastern half of the planet so this satellite business is the natural conclusion to the Chinese quest for military power!


Let us hope the Chinese quest for power does not turn out as badly as the 1940`s Japanese version!

That’s according to Progressive Conservative Finance Critic Vic Fedeli who culled the information from more than 300,000 documents released before the 2014 election on the gas plant scandal.

At Queen’s Park Thursday, Fedeli said a memo penned by government bureaucrats on March 2013 warns that the Korean consortium behind the Samsung deal missed two important deadlines and that gave the province the chance to save $5.2 billion, without penalty, by exercising an out clause on the deal.

But Fedeli says the government left $1.5 billion “on the table” when three months later it announced it had renegotiated the deal and only saved taxpayers $3.7 billion.

Newly unearthed documents show the Liberal government could have saved an additional $1.5 billion on the controversial Samsung green energy deal by exercising an out clause in 2013.

That’s according to Progressive Conservative Finance Critic Vic Fedeli who culled the information from more than 300,000 documents released before the 2014 election on the gas plant scandal.

(Keeping track of LIE-beral crap is a monumental task! Keeping ones eyes from glazing over while working through that much govt bullsh+t in a short period of time is a monumental task!)

At Queen’s Park Thursday, Fedeli said a memo penned by government bureaucrats on March 2013 warns that the Korean consortium behind the Samsung deal missed two important deadlines and that gave the province the chance to save $5.2 billion, without penalty, by exercising an out clause on the deal.

But Fedeli says the government left $1.5 billion “on the table” when three months later it announced it had renegotiated the deal and only saved taxpayers $3.7 billion.

(No doubt LIE-berals were totally focused on how much gravy they could rake in if they kept to their plan to turn our electrical system into a GIANT LIE-beral slush fund and failed to notice- or care - how thoroughly the public would be screwed! She’s spent the last two months trying every trick imaginable on her #NotFord website to convince voters PC leader Doug Ford would be nothing short of the devil incarnate as Ontario’s next premier.

She’s tried to bully doctors and other Ford supporters on her own Twitter page, where she has also called Ford a “liar” and a “cheat.” She even quoted a so-called scientific study she found purporting that Conservatives are “anti-intellectual” and full of “fear and anxiety.”

(She may be a provincial candidate but exposing her poisoned values will help us recognize that the federal NDP is just as bad! And our loonie leftist media is giving Jagmeet Singh a free ride by NOT questioning him about this crap!)

But as the clock ticks down to election day, it seems Gail Vaz-Oxlade — the television debt counsellor — is the one full of extreme anxiety to the point of imploding at the idea of an Ontario government led by by the debt-averse Ford.

(And how utterly ironic that a person who can make a modest television career of offering sensible choices about other peoples personal finances should be so CLUELESS about govt money! Bu that is the NDP for you- irony challenged at every level!)

In fact, early Monday morning she tweeted that anyone “stupid enough to elect #NotFord” should “STFU.”

On June 2, she invited her followers to cancel their subscription to the Ottawa Citizen because the paper had endorsed Ford as the next premier.

Vaz-Oxlade became known for the Princess reality TV show six years ago in which she chastised spoiled young ladies not to spend more than they make. She has written several books — including the most recent “Money Talks” — counselling people how to remain debt-free forever, to get out of a credit crisis and to invest wisely.

When I first revealed her outrageous tweets and her #NotFord.ca website at the end of March — suggesting an obvious disconnect between how she’s made her money and her claims about Ford — she attacked me on social media for two days, then blocked me.

(LIE-berals and their less intelligent NDP cousins are all about power- without the need for responsibility! Any problem or citizen unhappiness is explained away by glowing reports of our “booming economy” that is sliding ever deeper into debt and sheds jobs! Again- NDPers are irony challenged- and quite shameless about the lack of truth in their policies and their twisted version of reality! They espouse a Soviet style method of propaganda- anything they don’t like is untrue- or not their doing -or forced upon them by hostile others! Socialism is NEVER WRONG in their books- it is ALWAYS poisoned by outside influences!)

Efforts to reach Vaz-Oxlade though her Twitter and website feeds Monday were unsuccessful.

But on her #NotFord website, she claims while she doesn’t like debt, she knows that “personal debt and government debt are not the same.”

(There is the heart of NDP irony! Vaz-Oxlade recognizes that her PERSONALLY going deep into debt is bad- but govt going deep into debt is NOT bad- just so long as govt GIVES HER more gravy! Ndp wants money and power and NO responsibility! Morally and intellectually they are CHILDREN!)

She also contends that Ford alarms her with his “populist Trump-like conservatism” and that like Trump, he “narrowly won the leadership contest” with support by religious conservative groups.

(This is NDP style logic- Ford has not- to my knowledge- said anything about religion- but no matter- NDP follow the Soviet style propaganda line- winning is everything and truth is irrelevant to winning! The ONLY public reference Ford made to abortion refers to CHILDREN! Currently a 14 year old girl can get an abortion without parental knowledge or permission and he wants to change that! Ford believes that parents SHOULD KNOW what is going on in the lives of their kids and letting kids hide a major event like getting an abortion- as NDP thinks is appropriate, should be discouraged- if only so parents will be alerted to the need for their daughter to get birth control! The Ford position is clear- his is NOT a religious stance- it is only a belief in parental responsibility and supervision!)

(Kids are getting ever less parental attention these days and it is not good for them! All manner of experts tell us that kids benefit from logical structure in their lives based on sensible rules so why let leftie loons undermine parental responsibility this way? Our news media has reported a number of stories where teen girls were sexually assaulted at parties and ended up committing suicide and this is a DIRECT RESULT of limited parental attention! Closer and more detailed parental supervision will reduce the number of such tragedies- so I believe! )

Her website also encourages voters to create their own lawn signs by using “Beware of Dog signs” and adding the “u” to Dog.

(WE are being allowed glimpses into the mind set and values of various NDP candidates and what we have been shown thus far reveals a group of arrogant dictators in waiting who will completely alter every aspect of Cdn live if we are unwise enough to grabt them such power and influence! The candidates following Sikh terrorist supporter Jagmeet Singh are not likely to be any more sensible than those following Horvath in Ontari-owe!
