The best way to get a book read is to try to ban it. I said it earlier, these kinds of accusations came out before and the Trump administration barely acknowledged them. They demonized the "leakers" and made a big deal about plugging up leaks. That was the right kind of deflection. Now Trump has not only gone on an angry Twitter rant but he's seeking legal action (which will go nowhere) and drawing attention to it.
Trump's caught himself in his own trap. How could Bannon reveal confidential information about Trump if Trump said it's a lie?
People are definitely putting too much stock in Steve Bannon and so is Bannon himself. He's way overplayed his position and the exaggerations in some of the quotes in this book smack of a man impressed with his own opinion, seeking attention for it and adjusting that opinion for more attention.
