Yup. Was the 3rd largest population until 1958.

Then Tommy Douglas killed it.

When I was a kid Regina was bigger than Calgary.

Buddy doesn't have a clue.

Much like his belief that all his food comes from the grocery store... It's created there

Junior ... I assume that you are young, because of the lack of sophistication in your ideas, our grain products MAY come from Western Canada and not much else. We don't see much Western beef, here for instance and Saskatchewan bananas only come into the supermarkets during snowless months.

I sell barley to Lilydale. If you eat KFC you are eating what I produced then it's fried in SK Canola. Some of that might be mine too.

You are hilarious.. After reading about your proposed venture in Kamloops, I'd make nothing but money off your group buying the contracts and assets at pennies on the dollar, moving it to a tax friendly jurisdiction and parting it out.

Please, please let me know where you intend on setting up shop next time.... I'll fly out after 6 mos to a year and make a stink bid on the assets

I'm not allowed to eat KFC. My wife wants me alive, for some unknown reason. We use Sunflower oil in our house.

US beef doesn't come up here unless it's processed.

At 61, I wouldn't risk a pfennig on weaving baskets west of Thunder Bay. You ain't there, yet. My grandchildren can take those risks around 2050, or so when the region has grown up, more.

Is it some weird, binary GM Monsanto frankenfood sunflower?

Canada's penis is tiny.

There are only two GMO crops and sunflower isn't one of them.

What a relief! Imagine, crossing sunflower and bat genes and coming up with a plant that follows moonlight or some such wierdness.

Then don't be an oil seed cultivar.

If you were a mustard seed there is a 90% chance out of all the mustard the in world you'd be from Saskatchewan.

We aren't just feeding Canada we are feeding the world.

So much so that the value of farmland shot up by 500% in a matter of two years and still gaining 15% a year.

And by the way Saskatchewan walks all over the entire country and almost the world in mining with less than 10% of the resources in production.

With such incredible soil and the use of locally manufactured zero till seeders with height sensing radar placing a single grain of Saskatchewan sourced and manufactured sulpher coated potassium fertilizer then a grain of nitrogen followed by the seed all placed within 2mm of the depth after it senses soil temperature on the fly seeding a row 80ft wide at 6mph with 100% perfect rows with autosteering controlled by GPS and all systems monitored on the seeder and tractor. If I'm low on fuel or need more fertilizer the data can be read my hired hand at the farmyard who can bring exactly how much I need and when I'll need it.

You can't do that with a yak and plow like in China or India.
