Moore has to withdraw.
Franken has to go.
They both committed crimes that, while no longer prosecutable, disqualify them for public office.
(That's my opinion, there is no law that says sexual assailants and child molesters can't hold public office.)

There should be. Of course, while number of accusations tends to support guilt, I don't think either have a conviction (claims proven in a court of law). But I am no lawyer.

However, the Supreme Court has held that the list of qualifications for the Senate, House of Representatives, and President/Vice President, are comprehensive and exclusive. They cannot be added to without amending the Constitution.
Sadly. Or maybe not so sadly. The Constitution is deliberately very broad on the topic. I suppose if a majority of the people choose to be represented by child molesters and boob grabbers, that's their call.

A spokesman later said that Ms. Gillibrand was trying to underscore that Mr. Clinton’s actions,had they happened in the current era, should have compelled him to resign. Still, it was a remarkable statement from a senator who enthusiastically backed Mrs. Clinton’s presidential bid last year but has been deeply involved in legislative efforts to curb sexual abuse and harassment in the military and on college campuses. Ms. Gillibrand, who has longstanding ties to the Clintons, is the highest-profile elected Democratic official to say that Mr. Clinton should have stepped down as a result of his affair.

How is it different from the way Trump (who openly admitting to grabbing by the p000sy) and others have rallied around Moore?
In politics that is irrelevant. It is the court of public opinion that counts. There are elected officials that are serving time.
The ALabama GOP has his back but the swamp creatures in washington have been on him to quit. Even the White House - although Trump himself has been silent. I do';t think you will see Trump commenting on any of this stuff. Too close to home.
