Moore has to withdraw.

Franken has to go.

They both committed crimes that, while no longer prosecutable, disqualify them for public office.

(That's my opinion, there is no law that says sexual assailants and child molesters can't hold public office.)

There should be. Of course, while number of accusations tends to support guilt, I don't think either have a conviction (claims proven in a court of law). But I am no lawyer.

Franken's victim has a photograph.

However, the Supreme Court has held that the list of qualifications for the Senate, House of Representatives, and President/Vice President, are comprehensive and exclusive. They cannot be added to without amending the Constitution.

Sadly. Or maybe not so sadly. The Constitution is deliberately very broad on the topic. I suppose if a majority of the people choose to be represented by child molesters and boob grabbers, that's their call.

It was probably written my molesters. Not like we can question the slaves they owned about how moral they were.

There are great opportunities for them in several pizzeria chains, though.

Pentagaon retweets call for Trump/Moore/Franken to reisgn and or withdraw

PROUD RESISTER @ProudResister
The solution is simple...

Roy Moore: Step down from the race.

Al Franken: Resign from congress.

Donald Trump: Resign from the presidency.

GOP: Stop making sexual assault a partisan issue. It’s a crime as is your hypocrisy.

Ooh boy….the Queen must have been steam-cooking her rump inside her designer pantsuit after reading this Kirsten opinion about her predator husband............

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Democrat of New York, who holds Hillary Clinton’s former seat, said on Thursday that Bill Clinton should have resigned the presidency after his inappropriate relationship with an intern came to light nearly 20 years ago. Asked directly if she believed Mr. Clinton should have stepped down at the time, Ms. Gillibrand took a long pause and said,“Yes, I think that is the appropriate response.”

But she also appeared to signal that what is currently considered a fireable offense may have been more often overlooked during the Clinton era. “Things have changed today, and I think under those circumstances there should be a very different reaction,” Ms. Gillibrand said. “And I think in light of this conversation, we should have a very different conversation about President Trump, and a very different conversation about allegations against him.”

A spokesman later said that Ms. Gillibrand was trying to underscore that Mr. Clinton’s actions, had they happened in the current era, should have compelled him to resign. Still, it was a remarkable statement from a senator who enthusiastically backed Mrs. Clinton’s presidential bid last year but has been deeply involved in legislative efforts to curb sexual abuse and harassment in the military and on college campuses. Ms. Gillibrand, who has longstanding ties to the Clintons, is the highest-profile elected Democratic official to say that Mr. Clinton should have stepped down as a result of his affair.

The democrats have a little problem with the way they rallied around Clinton.

Its all politics. Its actually pretty disgusting.

In politics that is irrelevant. It is the court of public opinion that counts. There are elected officials that are serving time.

How is it different from the way Trump (who openly admitting to grabbing by the p000sy) and others have rallied around Moore?
The ALabama GOP has his back but the swamp creatures in washington have been on him to quit. Even the White House - although Trump himself has been silent. I do';t think you will see Trump commenting on any of this stuff. Too close to home.
