Look at the unbelievable damage unlimited immigration has done to North America so far. War, famine, genocide, torture, environmental degradation, and a complete takeover by foreigners who had no intention of learning our languages, living by our laws, or believing in our gods.

I can see here that no one argues the topic at hand. Instead this thread burst into a chaos of irrelevant opinions.
To make it clear the topic is the effect of increasing our population on our natural environment. In regards to immigration this is increasing our overall population by 1/30 in 3 years. And this number will increase with children being born in the future exponentially.
What I see in most comments in this forum about political ideals is that hardly nobody ever mentions the environment.
In case you did not know our worldly natural environment is dwindling by a thread.
Without our natural environment we can not survive. We should be standing protecting our natural environment every chance we get. It is standing up for our only home we know. Our Earth.

Im for population control to protect our Earth. weather it be only having one kid or stop the dramatic influx of immigrants into an a relatively untouched environment. I don't have a hell of a lot of problem with immigrants, what I do have a problem with is more immigrants settling in already over crowded areas such as the Lower Fraser Valley, the Calgary to Edmonton corridor, The area stretching from Kingston down to Windsor and St. Catharons and The Upper St. Lawrence in Quebec. Provide incentives for people to settle north of 60 N. The entire population of the three territories is still shy of 100,000. That is one area that needs bringing up to snuff and get some resources developed. We don't need more pollution in the above stated areas!
They go where the jobs are and the low population areas may not accommodate that..........

I guess all those pro-immigration experts in Europe are a bunch of racists too because it's them that have said that reaching 1% intake of our total population is a recipe for economic disaster. We're already at 1%, this is will put us well over that mark.
And considering that the bulk of migrants tend to settle in one of three regions, those regions are going to be f*cked even more when it comes to stuff like infrastructure costs. Toronto is already at least a decade behind, or more, on replacing aging and ancient infrastructure because it's constantly having to add new infrastructure.
