Not a huge MMA fan but I am considering getting tonight's ppv. The return of GSP is a pretty big deal for this new sport. Having him fight Bisping for the MW title is also interesting - although Bisping is widely considered a one and done champ. Plus there's Gambrandt vs Dillishaw for the BW title and womens BW title fight. Also Thompson vs Masvidal is a fight between two really good strikers. The bottom of the card has GSPs last opponent Johnny Hendricks in a do die fight with some new guy. Hendricks was the guy who was supposed to fight GSP when he came back but he keep fighting and losing, and missing weight, and now he is pretty much over.

The smartest thing GSP ever did was take that time off. Now he comes back fresh to way more money. I wish him good luck but he needs to take Bisping down and hurt him. If he can't do that Bisping will piece him up badly.

Thanks for the reminder - just tuned in myself, right after the end of the NYR and Metro Riveters games.

Georges St-Pierre's win was remarkable. Clearly, Bisping hurt him. And you had to wonder whether GSP had the stamina to make a comeback. But he landed a wicked left handed round house, followed up with a few stunning elbows, and then had him in the rear naked choke for the winner.

Awesome fight.

congrats to georges st pierre on his comeback win over a very tough fighter.

he has set himself up for some very big fights. <it is hard not to be impressed by the way this guy has managed his career. He just seems to do everything right in a sport where most fighters do everything wrong.

that was a good fight night. I have paid to see worse events than that - which is the problem with mma.
