They should also include the taxes remitted by the folks who build the extra houses for the immigrants to live in...you get the point....well, you probably don't, being stupid and all.
I wasn't aware people who can't find work and have very low incomes were buying new houses. Oh wait, you mean the houses that are being put up as public housing? I would expect you would know all about that, since you've probably lived in one all your life. Hey, how about we bring in a hundred million immigrants from Bangladesh! That will require a lotta houses being built! I'm sure that'll really improve our country, eh!
It does make sense when you realize that the language of technology is not exclusively English.
It is in this country, or French in Quebec. The point is if you've got a degree you need to be able to read and write complex technical documents and communicate both in writing and orally with your colleagues at a high level. You can get by being a tradesman with pretty rudimentary English (or French), or as a farm worker or such. But if you want to be an engineer or doctor or financial professional of some kind, deeply fractured, halting English will simply not do.
