Why don't we ban all alcohol to prevent drunk driving?

Nah, just the consumption of it would suffice. Make it a fine-able offence. If we can't prove beyond reasonable doubt that he was DUI, then we could at least fine him as a deterrent for drinking himself silly. Drink at home with the door closed and stay out of trouble and no one will even know, right.

Perhaps it should be banned in DC to prevent drunks being in charge of anything important. If you can't drive on it I doubt it helps you run a country.

Good idea in principle, but I think $250.00 is set too low. I'd raise it to around 33 grams of gold (to resist inflation) and make it double for each repetition of the offence.

I think it would be easier to ban all vehicles to prevent drunk driving. Better yet, repeal all drinking related offences.

The quickest way to reduce crime is to reduce the number of offences.

The Military probably has the lowest rate.

they probably have a rate higher than the Canadian public rate. I just don't think you can say that right now such a small sample size.
