Indeed. They are used to living on someone else's dime and have no artisans to pioneer with.

Well JLM was insinuating, and he can correct me if I misunderstood him, that there is plenty of land in Canada. That would mean striking out north into the unpopulated or scarcely populated areas. I do not think immigrants or citizens are the pioneering types these days. I think they both like to stay close to where the goods and services are in abundance.
