Illegal entry - they would be requesting asylum.. I'm all for expanding immigration for Canada as we have 36 million to the USA that has 360 million.. we should be able to add another 5 or 10 million with ease..
I'd be ok with it through legal channels as well, as long as they would be self sufficient, positive contributor and assimilate to our Canadian society. I would have no sympathy for illegally crossing the border and requesting asylum, a high percentage of these people are unskilled and a strain on our social assistance program.

Try to remember, DACA kids were brought to the US by their parents seeking a better life. They went to US schools, learned English, most don't even know their native countries language.. they didn't have a choice when brought to the USA.
