Well, I don't see how loser is a moral measurement seeing how even had the south one and there had been winners, they'd still have been slavers and traitors.

On second thought, even traitor is not necessarily a moral standard. After all, members of the German resistance to Nazi rule would have been traitors to the regime too. Sometimes committing treason could be the moral choice. But they're still slavers.

And the United States was founded on treason.

I beg your pardon?

I will have you know the U.S. was founded on slavery and genocide, thank you very much.

So? Some countries were worse. Why don't you vilify them instead? Unless the US was or is the worst of the bunch, you have no right to criticize the US so shut up already.

It was founded by great White people working hard and looking after the less fortunate.

Today, people and scum from all over the world are doing whatever they can to get into America so they can be looked after by the great White people of America.

Somebody had to give all of those millions of West Africans food to eat, a place to sleep and free transport to a better place.

Donald Trump doesn't support rioting. He supports white supremacy.

SUre he does. Obviously you are a Trump supporter.

The US was founded by traitors. Had they not won they would have all been hanged.Just a matter of perspective.

..and soros the anti trump funder, and one of his biggest opponents and supporters of anti americans everywhere, helped Hitler burn jews during WW2...he even admits it.
But the Trump haters refuse to percieve the reality of the side they support...
(of course no looking in the mirror for these crazies!)
It's a matter of perspective I suppose.

lol, and its official now, the DNC servers were leaked, not hacked, so there you have the real criminals exposed now.

He was also coerced into helping the Nazis. helping someone under coersion is different from doing so totally of one's own free will.

OK, that too. But the slavery and genocide were colonial. It's treason that made America great.

Right Charlottesville, but the rest of the post stands. Charlottesville could have easily put the Confederate War Memorial in some context of Civil Right martyrs, or, black soldiers who fought for the the Union cause. It's this erasure of history in the cause of political conformity, and especially the villianization of the southern soldier as purely bigoted in motive instead of a patriotism to what they deemed their nation at the time. Anyone who has read at all of Gen. Robert E. Lee would realize he was deeply principled and moral man, however, misbegotten his cause.

A very thoughtful post, except the fact that Lee was said to be a Christian by historians and biographers. As such, he was required to submit to governmental authority as per Romans 13:1-7 & I Peter 2:13-25. His failure to adhere to these biblical mandates show he was not as "moral" as he is portrayed by his defenders.
