Never cracked a law book either.

We are currently waiting for the city or build us a bookshelf. Current estimate is $1.2 million in 2030.

I'm generally not appreciative of people who want to be celebrated in the media for building an unsafe piece of shit, as if they accomplished something useful.

Block off the stairs, and use the existing path. Just because you're too lazy to use the existing path, the city shouldn't cater to your laziness.

Then what must you think of the city building the exact same staircase at the bargain basement price of $65K (sometime in the next decade).

Nope, they are hugely impractical and if a politician promises to build one, he's either an idiot or bullshitting you. Either way, you're a sap.

Stairs, on the other hand, aren't that bad. Been up and down a lot of government stairs. I'd avoid the stairs this guy built though. They looked rickety.

If a teacher is worth 65000$ a year. Then a staircase is worth at least 150000$

Is that why so many don't like that Book?

Perhaps the parts like this has something to do with it. The 10 Commandments are all of the OT Law that made it into NT doctrine. Jesus was the 'seed of Eve' that suffered an unjustified death based on the law in place at the time. That is referencing the 600+ laws that were parked once they had served their purpose in the fulfillment of Ge:3:15. The day that happened is the same day Acts:10 unfolded, 3 1/2 years after the cross to close up the single block of time that is called the 70 weeks of years. Making Gentile food clean was the step that voided all the laws that came from. The OT defines clean people by what goes into their mouth (the people associated with the bruise to the heel) compared to the Church age where a person is judged based on the words that comes out of their mouth for the period that is associated with the the time allotted to the bruise to the serpent's head run out just like the bruise to the heel had it's starting point and ending point. The cross was important enough that 4 witnesses reported on it.

If you want doomsday reports then look no further. It should be noted that 'hand of the enemy' is the grave rather than any Gentile Nation.

La:1:1-8:
How doth the city sit solitary,
that was full of people!
how is she become as a widow!
she that was great among the nations,
and princess among the provinces,
how is she become tributary!
She weepeth sore in the night,
and her tears are on her cheeks:
among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her:
all her friends have dealt treacherously with her,
they are become her enemies.
Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction,
and because of great servitude:
she dwelleth among the heathen,
she findeth no rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits.
The ways of Zion do mourn,
because none come to the solemn feasts:
all her gates are desolate:
her priests sigh,
her virgins are afflicted,
and she is in bitterness.
Her adversaries are the chief,
her enemies prosper;
for the LORD hath afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions:
her children are gone into captivity before the enemy.
And from the daughter of Zion all her beauty is departed:
her princes are become like harts that find no pasture,
and they are gone without strength before the pursuer.
Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old,
when her people fell into the hand of the enemy,
and none did help her:
the adversaries saw her,
and did mock at her sabbaths.
Jerusalem hath grievously sinned;
therefore she is removed: all that honoured her despise her,
because they have seen her nakedness:
yea,
she sigheth,
and turneth backward.

You look at the stairs that idiot built and it's easy to see you will have to rebuild them every year. So 500$ for the next 50 years is 25000$ and you haven't included any labour cost in that.

So ya 65000$ for material and labour for a staircase that last 50 years is normal . But don't let me distract you from you're stupidity

What does my stupidity or otherwise have to do with 65000 being a bargain? Are you saying that if I were smart, 65000 wouldn't be a bargain anymore?

And then you look at the cost of employing teachers and you realize, that if we had to pay people equally for the amount of work they do, the stairs should cost 150000$. Just to be fair and compensate for all of the hazards people will endure to build that staircase

The work is at a random location. You need a truck to operate in construction, many tools.
Not sure how many tools teachers are required to buy themselves if any. What about transportation? They probably can live without if they wanted. Since there job is at the same place everyday

So you need a truck? Ok well that will be a payment of 500$ a month if not more. Just to start. And now you have to buy tools

Load up that truck full of tools. 5000$ later. And then get yourself a trailer

It all comes down to supply and demand. To become a teacher requires more qualifications. More qualifications means more time and money needed to acquire them. That limits access to the profession which consequently pushes prices up.

Supply and demand. The same explains physicians' salaries.

Guess you will need a extra big parking spot. Well that will cost you some more. Or move to the country. Great!!!! Pay more in gas. It all balances itself out in the end of the year right?

So equality of pay only applies when you have a pussie. Understood

Where did you get that from what I typed? yes I believe in equality of opportunity between men and women, but not necessarily sex quotas. Are you sure you posted in the right thread?
