NO, what's eeeeteresting is your gullibility. The gas and oil companies are the ones behind the drive for renewables. They can not only corner the energy market but they can now maximize their profits better by not supplying cheaper crude oil simply to be burned in power plants and add value to it by refining it. It also ensures a longer supply of oil. In the meantime, they also increase their profits by providing the natgas for all that wind power back-up generation. You subsidize wind and solar, you subsidize the oil and gas industry anyway.
I do hope you are enjoying your visit to our little planet. But I must ask you to study us more carefully before you offer up solutions to our troubles! That you believe it is oil companies driving demand for green garbage is a clear indication of your confusion!

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Liberals are masters of distraction and they were at it again in Ottawa Friday. While Climate Change Minister Catherine McKenna talked about the inevitably of a historic climate change pact coming out of a meeting between Trudeau and Canada's premiers, the real story was elsewhere.
It was a report in the Globe and Mail that the Trudeau government is considering buying international carbon credits to meet Canada's industrial greenhouse gas emission reduction targets for 2030, contained in the United Nations' Paris climate treaty.
If accurate, this puts the lie to everything the federal Liberals have said up to now about Canada being able to lower its emissions to the prescribed levels through domestic measures.
Buying international carbon credits would mean spending - wasting, actually - billions of dollars of taxpayers' money annually, purchasing what amount to "hot air" permits on the fraud-ridden global carbon trading markets.
(For a full understanding of just how fraud riddled the carbon credit market is one has only to read up on the European experience- especially since Our LIE-berals modeled their plan on the European model! The European plan is riddled with stock trading scams orchestrated by crooked stock traders either paid by or coerced by Mafia thugs! In order to save jobs and avoid defeat in elections, European style LIE-berals have issued so many free carbon credits to critical industries that there are MORE carbon credits than in some industries than there is Carbon being produced! For those companies that do not have sufficient political “pull” to get free carbon credits- they can always buy FORGED CREDITS at modest cost- and there is a nice little sub market in forged carbon documents with the idea being to distance ones self from such paper in a series of “trades” and “sales”!)
The reason for the widespread fraud has to do with the nature of a carbon permit, which allows the bearer to emit one tonne of industrial carbon dioxide - an invisible, odourless gas - on the assumption someone else has reduced their emissions by one tonne.
The problem is that fraud is rampant in many countries churning out carbon permits, China, India and Russia being three of the biggest.
(One has only to look at the German car maker Volkswagen to recognize the lengths that fiscally hard pressed companies will go to remain solvent! In a very recent report it has been suggested that less than one third of diesel powered vehicles actually live up to their environmental billing in “real world” conditions- in other words the carbon “FIX” starts in a laboratory some place and runs from there! Volkswagen is NOT ALONE in playing fast and loose with carbon!)
Interpol, the world's largest police agency, has repeatedly warned about fraud in the international carbon markets, including tax fraud and the presence of organized crime.
By purchasing carbon credits on the international markets with Canadian taxpayers' money, the federal government risks not only being defrauded out of billions of dollars of our money, but of doing nothing to lower industrial greenhouse gas emissions linked to climate change.
(How sad to think that we COULD REALISTICALLY LOWER our carbon emissions by building more subways in Toronto if we canceled the LIE-beral carbon credit crap and used that money for the subways instead!)
That's because unless a carbon credit is authentic, it not only does nothing to lower emissions, it increases them.
(After all- sending Cdn tax money to third world countries-as Our idiot Boy Justin wants us to do- is basically LOWERING the tax burden on those citizens- thus allowing them to INCREASE their carbon foot print! Europeans have never been excited about nuclear power- even though their plants release ONE THIRD the amount of Tritium that Cdn nuclear plants do. The truth is that Europeans are moving to bio fuels- meaning garbage mixed with scrap wood etc and also back to coal-with the plants getting all sorts of fancy air scrubbers that our LIE-berals refuse to buy and use here for selfish personal reasons- BECAUSE Europeans have figured out that even for Germans with that WINDY NORTH SEA coast, mouldy green energy is simply NOT RELIABLE enough for large scale use!
The mouldy green requires such a huge back up set of generators using conventional fuels that its easier and more environment friendly just to use the back up generators!
