Man In America with no health insurance needs total hip replacement. After hearing the news of the cost, he searches and finds a way to have it done in Belgium.
The Belgian adventure covers round-trip first class, top of the line surgeons, (for those of you who don't know or refuse to acknowledge this, surgeries are successfully performed all over the world, not just in the US) American-made titanium hip, one full week in prestigious hospital. The American option covers the same surgical procedure, two days in the hospital, then "scram".
American option: $100,000.
Belgian option: $15,000
Go ahead, America... try to justify the $85K difference.

There are so many good types of government. My hands down favourite is the "Let's go into the woods, dance naked around a large bonfire and decide stuff" style of government.

Before that, we worshipped trees, but with all the ticks and bores and bugs going around these daze, we opted for the bonfire, Sure, you have to gather wood to burn, but at least the flames destroy all the bad stuff. And tree worship had to happen during the day for some reason. Dancing naked around a bonfire at night, is stunning to watch in the extreme. The contrasting orange/yellow light against the darkness is inspiring.

For older people in the community, it gives them a reason to get naked and not be laughed at. And dancing makes it easier to go pee.

Young people get to ogle all the bare flesh. Occasionally, they get a free feel which cannot be interpreted any other way than religious in scope.

It's all so very mystical.

Link? I presume it's one of your lying moron websites. Like the one where you got the meme about the U.S. spending more on war than education.

Nobody's buying your lies, Chief Wa-Na-Be.

Good question.

I have no idea what's truth or bs but social media sure plays it up.

I've not heard of this in Belgium, but such a service has been offered in India for more than a decade. It is called medical tourism and offers top level medicine at a cost much lower than in the US. Here is a link explaining it.

I am wondering how long it will take the average Trump voter to realize that many of them will lose their health insurance if this bill passes the Senate.

Here's something interesting.

No big surprise there. Most advanced nations have a better health care system than the US.
