Why do you, people, blame the doctor?

FIRST:

When the medical procedure is successful, all will praise, admire and thank the doctor .. in fact, they should be grateful to God Most Gracious that the doctor has been guided to do the right thing, and that no complications and everything has been correct and safe.

On the other hand, when the medical procedure was a failure, and complications occurred and various bad things occur, they blame the doctor and in addition may blaspheme or even revile God Almighty.
So all this is not correct.

Some patients come to me after their sick child receives my medication and he gets better .. so they come to thank me .. I said: Don't thank me, but thank God Who cured your child, or else if He does not heal your child, he will not get better: the medication may not be effective, or the diagnosis is wrong, or complications may appear.

Some clients act the hypocrite, they say: your hand is a remedy! I asked God's forgiveness ... have you made the doctor a god so that he cures anyone whom he likes; all the cure is up to God alone; I also becomes sick so often, and I pray God Who cures my illness.

Others asked me: Will my child gets better on this medication? I said: It is up to God, that I give you this medication, which I think will be useful, but there is not any guaranty of the curing; it is up to God to heal your child.

Some also asked: When will my patient become well? I said: None can assure and ascertain this; it is up to God Who is the All-Knowing. Then I added joking: It is only in the Egyptian movies: the doctor tells the family: your patient will get better immediately after taking this medication! :lol:

I say this after reading in the BBC news the following:

SECOND:

There is some exaggerated zeal of doctors concerning the 'early diagnosis of breast cancer', and there are programs launched by the WHO and related agencies to this 'early diagnosis of breast cancer', so that any suspected case may be taken as cancer until proved otherwise; but doctors cannot wait .. they say: the breast cancer is very dangerous and if procedures are not immediately taken the cancer will spread and will be beyond the medical control.

I have an idea about this breast cancer and may be other related cancers; this depends on the Quran and its interpretation and what I understand of it:

Such cancers may be because of contradicting God's laws and commandments; because God forbid in the Torah and the Quran that the husband should isolate himself from his wife when she has menses or the monthly cycle; therefore, almost such cancers may occur with women who do not observe this forbidding.

[One of the Prophet's companions came and asked him about the statement of women in the time of their menstruation or monthly period;
therefore, this aya was revealed:]

Quran 2: 222, which means:
{And they ask you [Mohammed] about menstruation a [: the monthly period of women]; say, "It is hurt [for women b]; so isolate [your beds] from [the beds of] women c in their menstruation, and do not approach them [by sexual intercourse] till they are clean. d
But have they cleansed themselves [with water after the end of the monthly period] go in to them e by where God has ordered you f;
surely, God loves those who repent [from sins], and loves those who cleanse themselves [with water after making sexual intercourse with their wives.]"}
............................................................

222 a and its statement.

222 b Because the sexual intercourse with the woman during her menstrual period will cause disease in her womb.

222 c at the time of sleep.

222 d i.e. from the blood, and they wash themselves of it.

222 e i.e. then go back to them in bed, and make sexual intercourse with them if you like.

222 f i.e. by the site which God ordered you to avoid in the time of menstruation; He means by that the vagina.
So it is not allowed to make sexual intercourse with the woman during the menstruation, whether in the front [in the vagina] or in the back [in the buttock.]
The least time for [isolation from] the menstrual woman is five days in case she is purified before five days; in average it is seven days, and in maximum until she is purified [from her menstruation.]

Northern Ontario,
Do the doctors over there read the quran instead of medical books?
According to selshame, it has an answer to everything from astronomy to cooking....

THIRD:
A friend of mine phoned me about his wife; she was provisionally diagnosed as having Breast Cancer, because the female doctor found a lump in her breast. The doctor said: immediate surgery: radical without delay.
I said: Don't rush and hurry; there are many other causes of a lump in the breast: it may be a local trauma which passed unnoticed, or infection ..etc.
He said: I will not rush.
Then I asked him: is there any weight loss? He said: no.
Is there lymph node enlargement in the armpit?
He said: May be.
They also consulted another one of our friends .. he said: took her to a female doctor, a specialized whose name is so and so.
They took her, the female doctor confirmed the surgeon opinion. I said: Your patient is like my sister; I am concerned much about her; the female doctor cannot say to you anything else; because it is the ethics and the responsibility.
But I tell you: don't do the surgery unless you are certain about the diagnosis.

Is there any history of a local trauma? They said: Her child hit her few weeks ago.

Then they did not rush to do the surgery .. I was blamed by some of my family: Why do you tell them this, it may turn to be truly a cancer, and you then will be blamed.
I insisted: I cannot imagine what catastrophe will befall them if they do the operation.

Then it was proved a complication of trauma: another female surgeon did aspiration of the pus for her then antibiotics and she was cured. I praised God for this outcome of this patient: I know they observe the God's commandments and grasp hold with the Quran and the 'exclusive devotion to God'; so how can any breast cancer occur to them? This was my impression which proved true.

FOURTH:

A female worker taking care about our clinics, she was a villain :D; none can say to her any bad letter .. she then will answer him with many sentences .. she was a widow beyond her middle age about 60
I saw her left arm swollen .. all her arm and forearm swollen hugely .. she had surgery for Breast Cancer; this was the complication of the surgery .. and she went on taking her radiation therapy and chemotherapy for seven years

[I think she might have been the victim of wrong diagnosis and bad treatment; but I could not tell her this; only I said to her: I think you may have been cured by now!]

I thought: what's this? Her swollen left arm and hand .. that was untreatable!!
She must be a thief!? The punishment of the thief is to cut off his or her hand .. this may be a sentence implemented by God.

I said: All these seven years, and you still taking this dangerous irradiation and chemical substances!? She cannot stop taking this treatment, neither can her doctors stop the treatment: they fear lest the cancer return again!?

Quran 42: 30, which means:
{Whatever affliction may visit you is [only a punishment] for [the sins and wrong-doing] that your own hands earn;

and He pardons many [of your sins and wrong-doing.
c] }
....................................................................

30 c So that He does not hasten to punish you accordingly.

If God does the curing why take the medicine?

Corduroy, it is not like this.

But God can cure you without medicine, while if there is the medicine take the right medicine, give alms to the poor, do some righteous work, then pray God to cure you, and almost He will cure you if He likes.

So medicine is like the food; God made natural cause and result: if one does not take the food he will not live; as such the medicine is also a gift from God to which He guided man.

Therefore, if the correct medicine is available why shouldn't you take it? Take it and ask God's forgiveness; because the sin of man and woman is the origin of all evil that afflicts man.
See the post FOUR above.

Once I bought a shoe, and found some defects with its manufacturing; so I told the shoemaker or cobbler: why don't they perfect their work? He said: How then will I live? :D He means you should come to me and I take money from you.

So the doctor, the pharmacist, the dresser .. how will they live? :D

Because God can cure me without medicine and God decides if the medicine will work, like you said. Ergo, taking medicine is pointless. It's all up to God no matter what I do.

God brings the sun from the east every day, and also it does so because of the spinning of the earth around its axis; God let it spin in this way and so the sun rises from the east.
God taught man by the inspiration and gave him the mind to think; so why doesn't he take the medicine? Because in the life of the World, God gives provision and man has to work in order to obtain it, while in the Afterlife, the provision comes directly without man's work.

God gives knowledge to man, and it appears as if man himself getting it; He acquaints him about many drugs and medicines by the inspiration and guiding him to it.

God gives provision to man, and it seems as if man is getting it with his own cleverness and work.

There is a movie titled The Ten Commandments; in this movie, Moses explained this: that there is a man about to sink in the sea, and he prays God to save him, then a boat passed by him, and some men called him to come to them in the boat, he refused and said: I prayed God to save me; then a piece of wood floated near him, and he did not take it, then he was drowned and said: God, why did not you save me. The answer to him: I sent to you a boat and you did not ride on it, and I sent you a log of wood and you did not hold fast with it.

Something like that.

God can cure man in spite of the doctors and others. And man may remain ill in spite of the doctors and others.
But generally man is commanded to take the medicine and ask God for health and cure.

One of the Arab poets said:
The shepherd of sheep with his ignorance dies like the death of Galenus with his medicine, and even he may live longer than his lifespan.

Once a man with a huge body built attacked one of my friends, so this friend picked two bricks and smacked your head with the two bricks from both sides and that huge man collapsed :D
