Our cooling world

Continental ice and icebergs do not come from frozen sea ice. Glaciers form from precipitation .."snow" ... and it snows more in cold places when the temperature goes up. (Even blithering idiot Prairie boys would know that from direct experience.) Really cold air can't carry much or any significant amounts of water molecules. As it warms, the air carries more moisture up to it's vapour point and then the water precipitates out. It ends up as snow, right up to zero, Celsius. The more the snow accumulates, the bigger the glaciers grow. If it were getting colder at the poles, precipitation of both kinds (snow me rain) would be dropping there.

Now, if the Koch brothers happen to own your balls, you don't dare publish information like that.

Icebergs from glaciers are causing the increase in sea ice?

Better let NASA know.

There hasn’t been one explanation yet that I’d say has become a consensus, where people say, ‘We’ve nailed it, this is why it’s happening,’” Parkinson said. “Our models are improving, but they’re far from perfect. One by one, scientists are figuring out that particular variables are more important than we thought years ago, and one by one those variables are getting incorporated into the models.”

Apparently it's not CO2 as they though as stated in the other link you claim was from an oil company and not a valid source.

This global cooling is puzzling because it is opposite from the expected and simulated global warming trend due to the retreating ice sheets and rising atmospheric greenhouse gases

Melting ice on the edges of the Antarctic continent could be leading to more fresh, just-above-freezing water, which makes refreezing into sea ice easier, Parkinson said. Or changes in water circulation patterns, bringing colder waters up to the surface around the landmass, could help grow more ice.

Snowfall could be a factor as well, Meier said. Snow landing on thin ice can actually push the thin ice below the water, which then allows cold ocean water to seep up through the ice and flood the snow – leading to a slushy mixture that freezes in the cold atmosphere and adds to the thickness of the ice. This new, thicker ice would be more resilient to melting.
It's amazing that NASA made it to space.

That's what you said. Icebergs come from glaciers and that is why sea ice is growing.

No, it says that glacial ice (which is also iceberg ice) is increasing as snowfalls increase.

If sea ice is increasing, why can we navigate all over our Arctic Archipelago, now? Glass bottom boat tours over the Erebus and Terror are only a few years away! We're even building a class of warship now to patrol the waters that were impossible to navigate three decades ago. I could believe that continental ice might be increasing in the Antarctic. I'd buy that.

That isn't what they mean when they say "sea ice".

Icebergs and glaciers aren't sea ice.

We've always been able to sail in the Arctic What's new?

apWe have not "always" been able to sail in the Arctic. Where the hell did you get that hair brained idea, prairie boy?

Try it in winter.

If you have the answer to why it's still cool when it's supposed to be warming you are the only one with the answer to what Climate Scientists have dubbed the Holocene Temperature Conundrum. You'll get a Nobel Prize.

You are aware they have admitted the now antiquated 90s and 00s CO2 modelling was a failure right?

You have admitted that you're on the payroll of some oil company, right?

You got banned from CKA also....

What's CKA?

I wish.

Who is paying you, GE and natural gas companies?

Is that why the world is rushing to super super cheap and infinite NG?
