Its unnecessary, Islam is not the only religion that's persecuted, and in Canada our laws for the most part are neutrally written.

That is exacly what im saying, as parliaments are only the natural evolution of a council that is simply the natural evolution of a tribe deciding on a important direction to take.

Lions have a basic instict for hierarchy, leadership and decision making, in the best intrest of its own tribes survival.
Without racism earth would have never achieved the biodiversity it has. Life would still be simple singule cell form. Without the competition between races and spiecies, life would never evolve to human form.
The idea racism is bad is wrong if humanity would have never existed without it.

It's not that easy to fire people anymore. It has to be a serial offence, for one.
I strongly object to any attention wasted on this motion regarding Islamophia for a variety of reason.
Number one reason, it is not needed. There are already existing good laws to deal with hate speech and discrimination. To debate this motion is a waste of time that could be well spent on some important issue.
Number two. This will not change anyone's mind if they oppose Islam; it will further embed resentment in the minds of bigots.
Number three. It can pave the way to enacting actual law against blasphemy which is the law in Islamic countries and leads to cruel death and punishment .
Number four. It further represses free speech. Hate speech laws have already done that and this will add more repression.
There have been attacks on Synagogues and Jewish burial sites in this country in the past and no motion was ever put forth to debate anti-Semitism. Why is that? One religion should not be protected any more than another.
There are many, many religions practised in this country. Why is Islam the only one disliked by the public? Could it possible be because Islam produces terrorism more than any other religion, that Muslim countries are engaged in civil war around the world from religious differences, that Muslims wear their religion on their bodies and dedicate their lives to it? Is it because Muslims show more intolerance toward other religions than any other?
There must be reasons why it is the only religion in the country reviled and shunned by non-Muslims. The majority of Canadians are not intolerant. They just believe in equality.
