The size of the crowd is immaterial. There's so many variables, weather, day of the week, what else is happening that day. Was Obama's inauguration on a Friday?
Because it's a bit of a touchy matter right now. Maybe because they are being upstaged by a relatively non event?

because pal. the press immediately tried to minimize the crowd with earlier timed photos, tried to de-legitimize the presidency from the get go. because they're mad. because the're petty.
they were promptly corrected as the Trump team isn't gonna take any sh!t from these moral and intellectually superior mainstream press folk and their hidden agenda.

I honestly don't think Trump knows how to talk without lying. He's lied in ever speech he's ever given, and lies constantly about the smallest, most unimportant things. Saying he doesn't like to lie is like saying he doesn't like to breath. I think he does it so naturally and constantly he's sometimes not even aware of it.

no matter how you slice it, it is dishonest for the media to show photos of parts of the mall from like 3 hours before the event and then try and push the narrative that obama's inauguration was better attended. even if it was, they don't have sufficient evidence to make that claim from their photo of part of the mall.

Those shots from the podium perspective were shown ages ago, and they are at the same time as the aerial shots which show how empty it was. It only looks full because of the perspective - anyone with half a brain would understand that.
