Is Trudeau negligent for only implementing half of the Liberal psychotropic drug legalization policies?

Trudeau is basically staying true to the Le Dain legalization policies. Trudeau seems to have forgotten that the Le Dain model included all psychotropic drugs.

Given the growing number of deaths of late, especially in the West, is going half way the way to go?

I think that it is quite clear that prohibition is costly in lives.

I think it is time to remove the black market drugs that are killing our young to be removed through legalization.

Trudeau should go all the way the way the rest of the free world seems to be going. At their social and economic profit.

All drug users should be under the medical umbrella and not the law enforcement umbrella.

I hope his research team are looking at all those dead kids and putting 2 and 2 together.

The intelligentsia is on board so I do not know what the hold up is unless it is a lack of courage.

We could sure use the revenues and better health conditions.

The piss test screened for more than just marijuana. It would fail from OTC cold medicine that was too similar to Met.

My question is that if weed becomes legal will all those people who got screwed by piss tests get a second chance?

Not likely.

All they will get is sympathy.

I was a pioneer legalizer 30 years ago and faced 18 years in jail, which I was willing to face for a fair trial, but the courts threw everything out and hung me and my expenses out to dry.

The prohibition laws have been shown to never work and Canadians continue to pay for innocent people being jailed.

Trudeau made the right move but should have included all drugs to be under the medical umbrella and empty our expensive use of the courts and jails.

If Trudeau did include all drugs, all the death we are now having to suffer via other drugs would disappear as adulterated drugs would not happen under a regulated system.

No they haven.t consulted the experts, ther,s fukall in my E-mail about it. They don't know anything about the substance trhey believe they canj regulate.

While we wait for government regulation the real scientific investigatio continues without subsidy. The work is being done by legions of volunteers.

Only a well grounded citizenry coulod even think to address the er ah problem of alterded states in off times.

I don't quite agree with your wording although I do with your view.

We did consult the experts when we funded the LeDain Royal Commission Report that cost us tens of millions.

Our politicians are just to much of cowards to take the risk of having an uneducated and uninformed population not vote them in due to the public level of ignorance on this issue.

Strange how we paid so much for a document that we have collectively decided to ignore.

That is like a patient ignoring his doctors good advice.
