Glad you had a good year buddy. Stay healthy and have fun.

Well, "good" compared to lots I can think of. You got to be happy with what you have like reasonable health, wife, kids and grand kids and enough money for the essentials plus a couple of dollars! :) :) We are blessed!

If I can get to feeling better and the doctors and specialists can fix me up maybe next year will see me playing the slot machines and taking walks like I use to. :).

Make up your mind to it. Just increase your goal a wee bit every day. Walking is probably the best thing you can do and if you can add in a couple of hills, so much the better!

What a sh*tty day to have to die. Looks like I may have that beat for another year! :) :)

The guy we just loaded into a chopper was truly lucky. 70 ft down the bank. Fortunately someone saw him go over or it would have been days before he was found.

Never a big fan, the 80's new wave was a bunch of hooey. Too bad the guy died, but my guess is that some of the controversy he was caught in may have led to his demise. Regardless, RIP.

RIP

Not really a big fan of Wham or his solo stuff in 80s and 90s. But he obviously had talent and had an audience. Find I can tolerate him more when his 80s stuff comes on radio now. Last night they played one of his songs on the radio and the lyric was "never going to dance again" or something similar and my son said he was right.

It is also a wake up when somebody who is younger than yourself dies. It shatters the illusion of immortality.

And every year it gets worse seeing there are more and more people younger than you are. :) :)

You might be surprised how much we take a simple thing like walking for granted, until it becomes difficult. Humans are fragile.

I couldn't believe the news this morning. Two British music legends - David Bowie and George Michael - passing in the same year.

George Michael famously sang "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart..." and died on Christmas Day from suspected heart failure.

On Instagram, Sir Elton John posted a photograph of himself with Michael, writing: "I am in deep shock.

"I have lost a beloved friend - the kindest, most generous soul and a brilliant artist. My heart goes out to his family and all of his fans."

I remember when I was a kid in about 1987 and me and my mum and little brother were watching Top of the Pops on TV. George Michael's video for "Faith" came on, which has the singer shaking his a*se in front of the camera, and my little brother suddenly shouted out: "He's got a sexy bum!"

I loved him in the 80's... and when I found out he was gay... I loved him more.

Why can't 2016 end already before it kills off any more of the greats.
Yes, if only one had died this year why couldn't it have been him.........
