Actually, "election authorities" say that they are working hard to protect voting systems.

Weren't there some pretty blatant problems with the "voting system" that rendered large numbers of Sanders supporters unable to vote in a few strategically important locations? These were glossed over in the media pretty quickly, in fact it's worthy of notice how quickly he faded away despite the obvious support he had. Granted most of the suspicion in these cases rest on those within the Democratic National Committee and not the "voting system" in general, but it doens't speak well for the morality of the people at the top.

Sorry, I thought this was a discussion forum so I was discussing. What are you doing? :)
Don't worry none. Both of my hands're above my waist.

As far as discussion, I'll discuss most anything. But discussing the "morality of the people on top" is kinda like discussing the flying unicorns that parade down Yonge Street in Toronto at 3:30 every afternoon.

They only do that when the Leafs win the Stanley Cup.

Americans are tuning out Trump’s ugly lies

Whether or not Trump was joking, his supporters greeted that remark with lusty cheers. But here’s the thing: Even as Trump supporters continue to lap up his various suggestions that the only legitimate outcome of the election would be a Trump victory, the broader American public is completely rejecting the story he’s telling.

Indeed, there’s new evidence this morning that Trump’s ongoing effort to undermine faith in our democracy has been accompanied by a strengthening of confidence in it. And there’s also new evidence that majorities see Trump as fundamentally disrespectful of our democratic institutions.

The new Washington Post/ABC News tracking poll finds Hillary Clinton leading Trump by four points nationally. (There may be a tightening, but that would not be surprising; it probably represents Republicans who had been alienated by the awful headlines about his sex tape and allegations of unwanted advances coming back to him).

But here’s a potentially more significant finding. As Scott Clement and Emily Guskin note, the new Post/ABC poll also finds that worries about voter fraud have declined among American voters by 10 percentage points, even as confidence that the votes will be counted accurately has risen by 12 points:

Fewer than four in 10 voters now say voter fraud occurs very or somewhat often (37 percent), down from 47 percent in early September….In a separate question, the share of voters saying they do not have confidence votes will be counted accurately dipped from 33 to 28 percent, while the percentage saying they are “very confident” rose from 31 to 43 percent.

"Voter fraud" is a misnomer and mostly irrelevant! If "systemic fraud" was polled, the result would be closer to 97% than 37%. The whole f**king system is a sham and a scam. What percentage of the candidates are truthful from the get go? I think it's becoming obvious in the past week, that Sunny boy's bullsh*t is going to trip him up. Of course everyone knows Hillary is a compulsive, chronic and habitual liar. For all his crudeness and coarseness, Trump looks like a choir boy compared to a lot of them. He's just a little more blustery which gives a lot of people the wrong impression and sadly will likely be his nemesis come Nov. 9.

There has been a history voter fraud in U.S. elections. The most famous was the purported rigging of the Chicago election results by the Daley political machine in 1960.. which delivered Illinois and the Presidency to JFK. It has to be done at the local level by an all powerful political organization that controls the polling stations. The days of the old political bosses is over.. so its unlikely that it is widespread enough now to dictate the outcome of this election. You do hear some allegations though..

The story of the FBI re-opening the email investigation is obviously a fabrication since we already know the election is rigged and the FBI is in the Democrats camp
