Canucks seem to be off to a good start, just another 80 games! I don't get too excited this early. If they are at 500 after 10 games I start paying closer attention. I'm a fair weather fan. :) :)

canucks defeated buffalo 2-1 in regulation play tonight, they are now

4-0 to start the season, nice insurance wins right out of the starting gate,

as there will be a few losses along the way, so those wins are nice to have right now.

The Canucks, with Thursday’s 2-1 win against the Sabres, made it four home victories in six October nights.

Looking good talloola. Hope Rodin heals quickly and gets back on the ice.

oh brother, here we go again, another soap opera to follow along with, wonder where this one will go.
sounds like a fabricated story to me, but who knows, and maybe we won't hear another thing about it,
we'll see.

wonder what happened to the 'evander kane' story from a couple of months ago, has it just frittered
away because of made up nonsense, like Patrick kane's, or is there more to come, another we'll see.

the game was streamed online in French-Canadian - sounds quite a bit different from the European French that I've heard during soccer matches - the game reminded me of the classical fight between Larry Robinson and Dave Schultz back in 74 ~ a fight for the ages

Big surprise. Did not know that the Bruins were so vulnerable at goalie. They were far more physical than the Mn Wild but their rookie goalie could not handle the shots. By contrast, the Wild's Dubnyk was sharp at the net for the shut out.

canucks lost to Ottawa, 3-0

i'll say again, I'm really glad they had that first group of wins, as they weren't
very convincing with those wins, but they got them, and that is the important thing,
because now their lack of dominance or control in any games they have played is catching
up to them, so I'm sure coach and mgr are very aware of that fact, and will work to overcome
that problem.

against Ottawa tonight, they just didn't quite measure up, Ottawa were one step ahead of them
the whole game, they weren't bad, just not making life for Ottawa uncomfortable. miller played
fine, made lots of very very good saves, or score could have been a lot worse.

Really glad to see Sidney back on the ice and helping out the team..........and he even got a goal to spur the Penguins to another win.
