I don't see any huge Hillary bounce after the supposed trouncing Trump took in the debate, at least that's how the mainstream media has spun it. I hope he doubles down on ISSUES and concedes trivial distractions, of which the Clinton campaign are masters, to Hillary.. that'll win the election for him on substance.
Bill Clinton's bimbo eruptions are irrelevant to the voting decision. The voters care no more about that than they do about Trump's tax returns or disparaging remarks about the 1996 Miss Universe. People are going to vote on America's economic decline, on disastrous Free Trade treaties, on the culture of pessimism and death that pervades modern culture, on borders, on a lawful society for all, on gratuitous foreign entanglements.
Trump remains the sole candidate in decades who is idiosyncratic and iconoclastic enough to foment a real change in the direction of disassembly that America is now on.
But to expand on one issue, which has completely riveted the press for about 24 hours.
There was an very good interview with Miss Sweden on CNN about the 2014 Miss Universe contest in which she described Donald Trump as professional, cooperative and engaging. She noted that Miss Universe contestants sign a contract dealing with appearance and conduct, are well supported with personal trainers and nutritionists, and usually do very well in various careers using the pageant as a springboard. Importantly, they are expected to respect the brand of Miss Universe and the agreements for which they signed up.. all of which Miss Venezuela of 1996 ignored and more or less fell into a funk of binge eating and disorderly behaviour. Trump to his credit did not fire her.. but attempted to get her to take care of herself.
