Will the GOP repudiate Trump’s cruelty to a fallen soldier’s family?

It's the Democrats' way and liberal media spin

Sure it is. But why do people believe it? Don't they listen? Can't they read? Do they know what an insult is? Do they know what an attack is?
Looks like most people make up their definitions as they see fit.

Nobody has told me yet what they find insulting and disrespectful about what Mr. Trump said.

Don't forget, it was Obama and Clinton changing the rules of engagement in 2009 that caused Capt. Khan's death in 2004.

We know it's true because the Trump campaign says so!

No. We know it's true because it's true. I didn't know about it until a 4 Star General on tv said it.
To my knowledge, Trump has never said it.

Khizr Khan hits back at Donald Trump

Khan says he is confident that "Americans are not going to buy the snake oil [Trump] is selling."

In the wide-ranging interview, Khan reveals he was opposed to the 2003 Iraq invasion - his son was killed in action the following year.

"That was a mistake that has not served American interest well," he tells Mehdi Hasan.

harsh but fair:

Steve Goddard ‏@SteveSGoddard

If the Religion of Peace hadn't taken down the World Trade Center, Hillary wouldn't have voted to send Mr Kahn's son to Iraq.

The evidence is clear. On Oct. 10, 2002, during the Senate debate on a resolution to authorize the use of force in Iraq, Clinton rose to express her highly qualified support.

Khan is the one selling snake oil.

What? Now the Iraq invasion was Trump's fault? Give me a break!

Time to move on to something else. It's fairly obvious that the obsession over this incident has carried on for so long (it's second week) because it's the worst fokes paw he has committed in the past while!

Trump met with Gold Star Families in the aftermath of the Khan controversy

Trump Meets with Gold Star Families - Uncle Sam's Misguided Children

The organizer of the event was Karen Vaughn, whose son Aaron, a Navy Seal, was killed in action in 2011. She described the meeting as open, without restriction on the discussion, and found Trump to be "empathetic, compassionate, kind" and understanding of military families concerns of the current administration's policies.

It was much different than the flagrant politicization of a military death that the Democratic Convention and Khizr Khan engaged in. It might be Clinton, the DNC and in fact Khizr Khan who should apologize for so shamelessly using the death of Capt. Humayun Khan as a foil to attack Trump's immigration policies. As has been previously posted, Khizr's opposition to those policies stem from all kinds of murky and ulterior motives.

It was clearly put on in such a way as to prevent discussion of the substance of the issue, by way of its being placed on a pedastal of patriotic outrage.. and delivered by someone who could spew venom on Trump's character without allowing a rebuttal and defense, Khan having wrapped himself in his Gold Star status.

That was most disrespectful to the memory of his son's sacrifice. And it was outright bait by the Clinton campaign to draw Trump into a trap which they duly sprang.

this blowhard arsehole told us he was done with being in the media spotlight.

Do you think it's Khan that's the "Arsehole" or is it perhaps you and Trump who are acting like a couple of arseholes? The man lost his son fighting for the country, I for one can only imagine how tough of a pill that is to swallow & I'm sure he doesn't need any inane remarks from the Peanut gallery!
