97% of 34%. I wonder why 3% of 34% changed their minds?

I've explained this to you countless times and then you run away because you just don't like hearing the truth.

The 34% number you quote are the studies relating to the causes of climate change.

The remaining studies don't address the causes so that's why they are not included.

It would be like looking for a consensus on the flight patterns of bees, and then criticising that consensus because you want to include every single study about bees in your sample instead of the ones that explicitly address flight.

Nooooo. 34% (-3%) of paper authors regarding several scenarios of climate change claim AGW as the causation of climate change and still believe their thoughts are true. 3% of those 34% no longer do.

The other 66% don't make any AGW claims.

That is the true consensus. It's real but does not blame humans.

We have been hotter and we have had higher sea levels just 500 years ago. Then it got really f-cking cold.

Let's try this again.

The other climate change papers don't actually address causation as it relates to current global climate change.

That's why they aren't included.

Environmental records shattered as climate change 'plays out before us'

The world is careening towards an environment never experienced before by humans, with the temperature of the air and oceans breaking records, sea levels reaching historic highs and carbon dioxide surpassing a key milestone, a major international report has found.

The “state of the climate” report, led by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (Noaa) with input from hundreds of scientists from 62 countries, confirmed there was a “toppling of several symbolic mileposts” in heat, sea level rise and extreme weather in 2015.

“The impacts of climate change are no longer subtle,” Michael Mann, a leading climatologist at Penn State, told the Guardian. “They are playing out before us, in real time. The 2015 numbers drive that home.”

You should go outside. This has been the wettest drought on record. Even rained today.

I've already proved you wrong countless times on the consensus.

Climate change turns birds into cannibals | Grist

Nobody said there wasn't consensus, just that the people that are in agreement are total idiots and/or have ulterior motives for claiming such a falsehood.

Only AGW papers. They are the 97%(-3%) consensus.

They never were the dominant consensual belief.

What I read a number of years ago was that a survey was sent to a number of scientists re climate change. Of those surveyed 34% responded and 97% of the 34% believe in AWG. So by that reckoning there were not many that thought it important.

Close. 97% of AGW paper authors who make up the 34% of climate change papers still believe their studies' opinions to still be valid. 3% do not.

Even if climate change was happening, To think we could stop it, is pure stupidity.

Unless wiping out 6 billion humans is a option.

That is the option. Get six Billion builders building then get rid of them when they've built what you want.

Just like bees or ants. They all but a handful die for their Queen once building her a winter palace. Kinda like St Petersburg.

Out of 12,000 global warming papers 34% (4000+/-) blame humans. 66% (8000+/-) don't.

Which number is bigger in your mind? 34 or 66?

For the toon to be politically and figuratively accurate that should be Jamaica in the background.

of the 12,000 agw papers, exactly how many of those quacks are funded to 'discover' this conclusion.

Well thank you Walter, to complete the picture we need some Jamaicans lounging (as only they can do man) on the beaches around Nome, Alaska. Maybe Boomer has one in his private collection.
