Her Province is a fiscal basket case, her party is under investigation by the police and her defense is throwing out the inequality card.

WINNIPEG—Kathleen Wynne wonders whether a man would have faced the same kind of vicious attack that was aimed at her by a member of Alberta’s Wildrose party.
The Ontario premier says she accepts the Opposition party’s apology but suggests a man might not have been treated the same way.
Wynne was a visitor in the Alberta legislature Thursday, at the invitation of Premier Rachel Notley, when Wildrose finance critic Derek Fildebrandt launched an attack on her economic management. He called Ontario a fiscal basket case.
Later, Fildebrandt appeared to personally insult the openly gay premier when he responded to a commenter on his Facebook page who congratulated him for “telling the truth about Mr. Wynne or whatever the hell she identifies as.”
The MLA said he was “proud” to have the commenter as a constituent.

That earned him a suspension from the Wildrose caucus, although Fildebrandt contended he’d misread the supporter’s comment and had not intended a personal attack on the premier’s sexual orientation.
“Yes, I accept the apology,” Wynne said Saturday during a session on women in politics at the federal Liberal party’s national convention.
“But, you know, I think it was an interesting confluence of things. There’s a woman premier in Alberta, I’m there as a woman, we’re talking about climate change.
“And I think the attack, the viciousness of the attack, had a particular quality to it. So, I will just say we need to pay attention to that.”
Wynne acknowledged that there are “vicious women in politics” as well but she “suspects” a female politician wouldn’t have launched the same kind of attack.

Ontario is a financial basket case, but he's only saying that, cause there is a unlikely, unproven chance he doesn't like lesbians. Let's make him appologize

First of all, twitter should be taken away from all politicians. I know, I know, how would our Prime Minister fair if he had to actually, um uh ah oh um ah oh put together an um oh ah verbal sentence?

Secondly, the guy didn't call Kathleen Wynne anything. But yes, the old faux female victim thing because she got called out for what she and her criminal predecessor (a male) have done to the Province.

If it works, then I really can't blame her for doing it. The point is it's sad it works. PC is a women's world.

Worst...Premier...ever! My problem with her is she's only a Liberal when it comes to stuff like LGBQTXYZ issues, multiculturalism, and sucking up to unions. The rest of the time she's a Texas Republican through and through. She's corrupt beyond saving. She's a thief, a consummate liar, a corporate crony. She's a protégé of the equally contemptible POS, McNuggets. Basically, she's Kathleen McWynnty. The worst of both worlds.

Ontariowynns have the same problem as BC'ers, Both have pathetic neo-libs but neither Province have a viable alternative....

A brouhaha over comments made about Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne in the Alberta legislature continued to escalate Friday with the Opposition Wildrose party suspending the MLA who made them.

But by late Friday, Wildrose Leader Brian Jean issued a terse, short news release saying Fildebrandt had been suspended from caucus for making “an unacceptable comment on social media that does not represent the values of the Wildrose caucus.”

Fildebrandt had responded to a comment made by one of his supporters on his Facebook page, who congratulated him on telling “the truth about Mr. Wynne or whatever the hell she identifies as.”

Fildebrandt replied: “Proud to have constituents like you,” but later insisted he had misread the posting and said the insult against Wynne, who is openly gay, was “entirely against my views.”

Politician gives a form letter type response. “Proud to have constituents like you”. Send a letter to Wynnie and you'll get a form letter response. "Your message is important...."

Can we sue now?

Thank you, Wild Rose, for stoking a maniac ego
