I get it. Some people don't like capitalism because it favors profits distributed to private owners, and some like socialism because it favors profits being redistributed to the poor. They compare these too fundamental principles and choose the one that they like.
However, it really isn't the best way to choose what is better, because in reality most of us have a lifestyle where we are not heavily leveraged towards one lifestyle or another, ie most of us are not capitalists and most of us are not poor.
Additionally, our economy is not heavily leveraged towards capitalism or socialism. It too is a mix and a blend of both. And thank god for that.
