There is an often repeated sentiment that communism sounds great on paper...IMO, it doesn't.

The communist manifesto is only a few thousand words. I suggest that you read it. I've read it. It sounds pretty ****ty to me.
The word is shjtty.

Continuously governmental stimulated capitalism, like we have today is a form of socialism.

If all we keep doing is print money to help people run arround in circle in a board game with only one owner who owns everything, and keeps sucking up all the money we print, What do we call that? Capitalism on socialist life support?

Merry go round.
Canadian pension, same across the board based on number of productive years. Incentives to live in southern climates where the weather is kinder and the bars are open 24/7.
Basic healthcare, if you have money you can go to the front of the line if it is non life threatening.

Jobs, you are allowed to own stock in the company that signs your paycheck. If you are self employed there are benefits and restrictions. Interest free loans are more popular than not. Enter long list here.

What's the answer to when someone finally wins at the game of capitalism, owns everything, and bankrupts everyone? We just keep pretending it didn't happen and print money and give it so everyone keeps playing?

How long will it take until we have to pay more intrest then what we take in a year?

And then what? We keep going bankrupt and figure out a other way to keep going and pretend like the game Isn't already won and done?

And I'm no fan of socialism but it looks to me that capitalism only works for a lot of people at the biginning of the game. At the end it only works for the one winner.

And the rest of us are on social assistance to keep us going arround the board game.

So what do we call that? Capitalism for the one person, and socialist system for the rest of us that lost at the game of capitalism long time ago?

Socialism dosnt work any more then capitalism ever would. But we can't very well just kill the people capitalism bankrupted. Although the financial hardship is doing a number on our population growth. That's almost the same thing.

Look at Japan for example.

They have been in a capitalism recession for 20 years now. Everyones on social life support, and no ones having kids. Just recently the government their has issued statements women need to start having kids again.

Is the system failing because we stopped having kids?
Or is the system heavily favouring that you have no kids and self destroying itself?

Women never had problems making kids before. What's the problem now?

At that point the banks are only 'interested' in getting the yearly interest payments as that is enough to control the 'poor' so we don't get too 'uppity'. That the basic dept can never be paid off just means the interest payments are as good as a paycheck for the Banksters.

In Japan it probably means kids that live long enough to even be born and be called 'normal'.

Walnut, perhaps you didn't notice, all the experiments on cities using DU shell ended with Japan becoming the new lab as TPTB try and create a new species.

But like the winner has already won the game and bankrupted us.
Now the bankers will win the games fix we put in place and bankrupt us all
And then some thing else will save the game of collapse and bankrupt us yet again
And so on ?

How many times do we bankrupt everything to keep capitalism alive?

Once the game of monopoly is won. It's done. The one guy who won dose't keep playing with the bank lending everyone money to keep going arround the board game and keep getting bankrupted

It's clear that capitalism doesn't work any more then socialism  but as long as we all pretend it dose. It will.

I get it. Some people don't like capitalism because it favors profits distributed to private owners, and some like socialism because it favors profits being redistributed to the poor. They compare these too fundamental principles and choose the one that they like.

However, it really isn't the best way to choose what is better, because in reality most of us have a lifestyle where we are not heavily leveraged towards one lifestyle or another, ie most of us are not capitalists and most of us are not poor.

Additionally, our economy is not heavily leveraged towards capitalism or socialism. It too is a mix and a blend of both. And thank god for that.

Not too familiar with that stuff. L.O.L.

Apparently not. You love repeating the line that socialism is great until you run out of other people's money, but you haven't noticed that that's what happens in advanced capitalist economies. Booms are when we spend (and overspend) wealth and busts are when the money runs out, or we realize it never existed. The credit crunch and recession in 2008 was all about us running out of money.
