I remember it wasn't so long ago that one of the posters referred to the Sedin bros. as "The Sisters". I'm not sure who it was but perhaps he might pay attention to the Highlights of tonight's game! Canucks 4, Bruins 2. :) :) :)

As things sit right now the Canucks have the best chance of all the Canadian teams of making the playoffs at 24%, The Habs are second at about 11%, the Flames at under 10%, the Senators at under 5% and down to Edmonton at 1%. Pretty sad!

Maybe they said Toronto was 1% and Edmonton was a smidgeon higher! :)

Looks like the Canucks are letting one get away from them against the Flames. This is one they HAVE to win! :)

That's the boys. Just caught most of the third period, thought the Canucks looked good and their best players played accordingly. Time to plan on making a run for the playoffs!

Well, there's two in a row and they did this one all themselves (I was busy bowling) :) Now on to the Stanley Cup. :) :)

Those idiots should be tanking! Why do we have to go through this nonsense every year?

I think they should be planning for next year, starting NOW! I think their hopes for this year went down the toilet last night!

they have already done that, the interview with willie Desjardin day before yesterday told us exactly
that, as he said they were going to play the young players more, and bring up players from the farm
team, for games as well.
writing has been on the wall for a while.

that's ok, good for the young guys, gives the management/coach a good look at more players for next
year.

I'm glad benning didn't give up hamhuis for 'nothing', which is pretty well what dallas was offering,
as they thought maybe canucks were desperate and would take the bait, glad they didn't, hamhuis is
a good mentor for the young players, and if he doesn't ask for more money, maybe they will sign
him again, he now knows his expertise ins't in demand from elsewhere, and he has stated many
times that he wants to stay with the canucks.
vrbata can quietly leave at the end of the season, too much money for a player who can't play
without the sedin's setting him up, he doesn't help any other players, just wants to be fed the
puck so he can shoot.

Those idiots should be tanking! Why do we have to go through this nonsense every year?

its pretty obvious that Toronto is racing on purpose to the bottom hoping for first overall, they bought
up 5 players from the minors, plugged them into the lineup, they are almost on the bottom, so they,
for once in many years, could have a chance to achieve their goal.

canucks will probably pick somewhere between 5 and 8 if they go along as they have been, might go lower
but can't be sure, the few teams also struggling, are worse than Vancouver most of the time, including
Calgary.

so canucks can still play to win, and probably will still remain where they are, they definitely won't give
anyone the impression they are tanking, don't ever play to lose, the sedins would quit and go back to
Sweden if they thought the organization was purposely doing that, but even then, the players would have
to buy into such an idea, and they won't, so good for them, when they lose they still will have tried to
win, the way it should be.

Good game tonight, but 10 games too late in the season!

yes, its too late for playoffs, but that is behind them now, they are playing hard, playing
their young guys, and giving young guys a chance to get use to the nhl, they will exchange
players once in a while with farm team, then give others a chance to get comfortable on the
the canucks, its not doom and gloom any more, its looking forward to a new team for next year,
and how good they can become while this season is still going.

the team is fun to watch right now, seeing the new players and getting to know who they are.
then seeing if they can get a few wins, playing teams with much more experienced players,
better players, it is always a challenge for the kids to try to beat the so-called big guns.
