Re: Solar energy set to shine in greener Alberta

Hehehe...if you read the link, solar panels actually work better in snowy areas due to the reflection of light. But give the Broomster some slack, brooms are somewhat hi-tech given his skill level.
Most people can't even find the start rope.

Can't be any worse than what Ralph Klein did to Alberta energy production. He sold off government owned utilities for a song and then watched as electricity rates doubled - the exact opposite of what he predicted.

The perfect solution for Alberta. The province has huge sources of solar and wind energy. What better way to replace the declining petroleum industry than with a clean source of energy?
Just when it becomes cheaper for the consumer, go figure.

Not all solar panels are close to the ground, so he might need a long broom handle...

Yes, if we were discussing solar panels on buildings and not larger solar generating stations but I do find your sidetrack interesting.

I wasn't talking about buildings but the typical solar array like we have here up north
This one is a steet view where I used to go to a festival every summer.... this farm has a single..

No street view for the bigger arrays around here and I'm not gonna get in the car to take a picture to prove anything to a troll who will simply deflect and dance around....
Can't clean that with a house broom...

This would require several brooms.

What a waste of good farmland.

I'm sure we're all aware of what you're talking about but let's try and stay on topic. Some people tired of the constant thread derailing.

This would require several brooms...

Yes, it would. You should apply. The brooms don't run themselves, nor do they have GPS so that might be a bit of a problem for you but you could always give it a shot.

Re: Solar energy set to shine in greener Alberta

I wonder if the brooms are subsidized?

Probably. The Alberta Conservatives were in power when the latest generation station was announced. They did so love their subsidies. In fact, the broom manufacturer probably made a considerable donation to the party and needed to be paid back somehow.

Guess that it pays to be politically connected

Yes, just not for the taxpayers. I understand you social conservatives don't give much thought to the taxpayers but fiscal conservatives like myself, certainly do.

Thanks for the chuckles on that... It's nice to know that you have a sense of humor

Social conservatives alway display a nervous laugh when they're exposed for the hypocrites they are. I know the fact that you place higher importance on political connections than on treating taxpayer's dollars with respect, must be embarrassing for you. I should remind you that it's probably the biggest reason the Conservatives were punted in Alberta.

Yes. Of course.
Now you see what happens when you try to have an inteligent conversation with the forum jerk... you get accused of derailing...
When I went to pick up my wife at her weekly auxiliary meeting I took a picture of one of those solar arrays full of snow and it hasn't snowed here in a week....
But it's useless to tell a damned troll anything....his only friend is his puter keyboard and his blow up doll which he pretends is a girlfriend!

Social conservatives alway display a nervous laugh

Fortunately, I am not subject to 'nervous laughter' although I must admit that I do offer insincere and sarcastic laughter when dealing with hypocrites.

Again, thanks for the chuckles.

Dance Cannook Dance

Does that bother you?

.... I do offer insincere and sarcastic laughter when dealing with hypocrites.

...Says the gut that supports progressive parties while complaining about progressive parties and complains about financial mismanagement while supporting parties that financially mismanage. Do you know what the word hypocrite means?

Funny how Cannuck is ashamed to admit he's a Dipper, yet defends all their policies.. or as he calls it making fun on Conservative policies.

I guess the way the Alberta economy is going, I wouldn't let to many people know I voted Dipper either if I was Cannuck. The community may have a lynching party with Cannuck as the main attraction.

You still haven't explained what Dipper policies you think I support.
