Now the Van police is calling this a hate crime.

How pepper spraying a bunch of people can suddenly become a Hate crime, with no evidence whatsoever, is totally beyound me.

It sounds even the police have totally lost their sense of justice when it comes to these refugees. Sheesh!!

Durry, I understand your frustration... but it is a hate crime..

If he had tossed a bucket of water, the cyclist did it because they were Muslim Immigrants.

It does clearly show that Canadians are not in agreement with Trudeau's Kool Aid drinking Sunny Ways.. however, the guy needs to pick up a sign with a few 1000 other people and protest... not assault people, at least not in Canada or the USA.

It's a douchey thing to do, but these folks just came from Syria. My guess is that a pepper spray attack won't scar them considering they just came from one of the sh!ttest vacation spots in the world.

But thanks for thinking of them, Prime Minister Airhead.

A.

It can only be considered a Hate crime if there is evidence they were sprayed because they were of a certain religious or ethnic group. But the only evidence there is right now is that a bunch of people were pepper sprayed, that's all.

Would you consider if a bunch of people outside a church were pepper sprayed a Hate crime?

There's no doubt it's a f**king hate crime. I've never heard of anyone pulling that sh*t on someone they love! :) It ain't rocket science. :)

Are you being sarcastic, or are you really as dumb as your post would make you out to be?

First of all, I would like to go on record as stating that I'm against randomly pepper spraying refugees, landed immigrants, second (etc) generation immigrants, temporary foreign visitors and First Nations peoples, purely on principle.

Having said that though, I am rather stuck on this notion of a 'hate crime'. I feel it's discriminatory. We should also have 'love crimes', 'like crimes' and 'fluffy bunny feeling crimes' to round out the package. Who's with me?

Love crime: Getting arrested for trying to join the "mile high" club in an airliner loo?

I want to see who comes up with 'fluffy bunny feeling' crime examples.

:D

For example, I think this should qualify.

With Van being the heroin capital of Canada just about everyone is packing mace. At least the refugees will now know the rumors of Canada backing ISIS is true.

Why is it that Muslims always want to go to Christian countries??

Why don't the Syrians go to Saudi Arabia or Barain etc etc?? I guess these other Muslim countries don't want to look after their own eh.

A hefty percentage are Christians from Syria. Hezbollah saved their asses giving safe passage to camps in Lebanon and Jordan.

Yes, Canada, despite the separation of church and state is a Christian country.

The two heaviest European influences on its creation are, Britain and France. Both at the time, heavily Christian.

Our laws were born in the Christian document, the Magna carta.
