If you had bothered to read my post you would have noticed I acknowledged that point and said he was to blame for that and should be suspended.

No, here's what you said. I'll highlight the offensive parts.

There's definitely wrong on both sides (you don't rough up a woman, unless she's physically beating you) but the truck driver deserves only a minor portion of the blame. He had a full right to do what he was doing at the location he was at. She possibly had a right to the location, but only as a protestor. Also she and her cronies instigated the altercation!

No, no you're not.

That's because you were a nine to five labourer. Times change. It's unfortunate you were unable to keep up. I'm at work right now BTW
you're at work and yet are playing on the computer. Sound to me like you're kinda stealin time from your employer. Shame on ye get off the box and get to work deadbeat. Get the lead out all I wanna see are azzholes and elbows.

Yes it does sound that way but I'm actually at home, monitoring some processes on my laptop. It's a different world today. Lots of people don't work at traditional times or in traditional ways.

I've already highlighted it, if you can't see it, there's nothing I can do about it, old man.

I saw what you highlighted and it was correct so no need to get insulting.
(I see you still have a lot to learn.........................chronological age does not make one old, I don't know how many f**king times I have to tell you that)

Like I said, if you can't see what's wrong with what you said, there's nothing I can do about it. As far as I'm concerned, anyone that uses ANY excuse to beat on a woman isn't worth shyte. Anyone that has no problem with a man beating a woman, no matter what the reason, isn't worth shyte. This INCLUDES using the excuse that "she was beating him/me".

and because he beat on a woman, he is 100% responsible for what he did, not just "partially".

You and I would differ on that score- when someone beats on me (which has absolutely nothing to do with this story) regardless of gender I feel I'm totally within my rights to give him/her a shot in the chops. Many women made it clear years ago they are equal to a man, so if they are going to act that way- that is a decision they've made. He is still only partially to blame for the incident (maybe 20%) he was minding his own business doing a job he was paid to do and should have been able to continue without disruption. What he was doing was none of her business and if she thought it was, she should have taken it up with his employer. She and her cronies instigated the whole thing.

You've read what I think about this, and what I think of those that do or support.

to me, it is very black and white

Ya, but I don't feel anyone has the right to abuse, or support the abuse of a woman.

I fully agree with you and I for one never have or would, but there's an exception to every rule and that would be where some woman is bigger and stronger than me decides to beat the sh*t out of me. I bowl with one woman (about 40 years younger than me) who could do it. :) :) :)

No exceptions, and yes you do support it. You did in this instance, and by the above statement.

The RCMP had been there before because of the protesters. They had to have known the protesters would get out of control with no oversight. There are other detachments that can supply manpower.
I did not know that. I guess I listen to the wrong radio station. You're right, there are neighbouring detachments, but most of them are pretty small. They would probably have to call in backup from somewhere like the size of Duncan. Dincan is less than a half hour away but they still need to cover their own area. You live further away than I do. Unless
you've moved in the past four years, so how do you know all this? Your radio's right?

No JLM you are wrong. Men do not abuse women. People should not abuse people verbally either and I see lots of that on here. Physically, men are stronger than nearly any woman and he should have walked away. If he's not afraid to abuse a woman he doesn't even know, in public, what's going on at home?

Was she "dressed like a sl*t?" That's the usual excuse people who blame the victims of violent crime use.
