Liar. It should be pretty obvious even to the dull-witted that the biggest reason you post in CC is to troll. I admit that once in a while you post something worth reading but I think you do that to sidetrack the impression that you are trolling. You have habits; sidetracking topics, ad hominems, etc. from you are prolific. For instance, you cannot seem to just disagree with people, so you throw in that pet cliche of yours - "stop being silly" or "don't be so silly" or implying that someone is a social conservative because you disagree with them. It is a habit and it is not as if you do it unconsciously. You know you do it. And then calling others hypocrites was just too funny. It because inane to the point of being oxymoronic when you posted that you were not a hypocrite.

You've just described the view lots here have of nearly ever other poster to some degree or other.

oops Not every poster trolls so frequently, though.

Well, I think the big difference is in the numbers. For instance, how many posts showing Cannuck's disagreement with someone he has made he adds the "silly" comment in comparison to the disagreeing posts he has not added a "silly" comment? I would estimate that it is a high ratio.

Cannuck posted in 58 of the first 222 posts in this thread. I counted 28 ad hominems in the 58 posts and likely missed some.

I think the ratio of "red" thumbs to "green" thumbs he awards characterizes his mentality to a T.

Neither is a particularly important requirement in today's job market. If you were a little more educated and knowledgable, you would know that

As if you even have the slightest inkling of the extent of either my education or my knowledge. :) :) :) :) But don't let that discourage you from continuing with your 'jokes'.

I don't think he can lay claim to the start of saying silly and it's nicer then calling someone an azzhat, azzhole, an idiot, putz,

It annoys people. That's too bad, its' the nature of the beast when it comes to a back and forth on forums.

The next bit is NOT directed at you, AnnaG: There many here get upsets when they don't agree with the opinions of another repeatedly and are unable to make a connection somewhere so they become antagonistic and try to catch each other in some error, perceived error, or some such and then dart in with derogatory language in the hopes of 1 upping them.

Seems a hard way to go about holding a dialogue but there it is.

Isn't that what debate is? Run down the other person, try and make them look stupid or ignorant in order to try and appear superior? Get a thumbs up or two maybe a compliment now and then. A little attention periodically? Kinda like politics or religion. Makes the world go round. :).

:) :) :) :) - Yeah, I don't think the proper deportment during debates is carved in stone. Personally I try to be nice until the other person gets snarky and then the gloves are off and I can be just as big of an A$$hole as he/she is! :)

nah, that's just bashing.

True debate is not loosing your cool. Sticking to verifiable facts. Debating has to have a winner and a looser. Not pigeons that **** all over the forum board and strut about like they've won. lol

So this was on fb today. Seems to fit with the topic at hand.

Abortion Rates Highest Among Christian Women, But Why?

*Walter, no need to risk carpal tunnel, your thumbs down goes without saying.

why does there have to be a winner and loser ? what about a discussion where both learn from each other. debate sucks never really liked it. nothing more than arguing. and even if you're wrong, you still think you need to win. it's stupid

I agree. I like the back and forth. I find it easier to get along with people whom I don't necessarily see eye to eye with if they have a great sense of humour and can laugh at them selves. Oh and if they like animals and don't enjoy torturing them. (trying to differentiate between cruelty and needing to hunt for sustenance or eat animals.)

Hunting is usually more expensive than buying in bulk.

yes, but those hunted had a chance to get away and had a chance to live their lives free and not in an industrial setting.

'industrial setting', as in 'chicken farm/factory'? Not much choice in some places, in AB any farmer will sell you a heifer and even shoot it and gut it for you for less than a full tank of gas. Hunting in AB is expensive and that includes means expensive rifles and expensive 4x4's and more, a lot more before the first streak hits the grill. That being said, moose chili is something you can eat all winter.

Sto being so silly.

You have him pegged to a T, Anna although I must admit you are being generous in giving him credit for occasionally posting something worth reading. In the past 8 years, I have never noticed anything from him that is worth reading. Just an incessant deluge of drivel!

You should stop being silly as well

I had no idea that i was so important to you. Just so you know, the feeling isn't mutual.

As if you even have the slightest inkling of the extent of either my education or my knowledge....

Stop being so silly. You've posted your education and anybody can see your lack of knowledge on just about every topic.

I don't think he can lay claim to the start of saying silly ...

You're pretty sharp.

I guess, I think 10469 posts rated good out of 11321 rates slightly higher than 3050 rated good out of 4202 and I'm sure you agree! :) :)

There is very little on this forum that resembles debate. Those that try to debate are treated with respect by me but they are such a small minority. There are other members that are just plain respectful. There are lots of members I don't call silly and many of those, I don't agree with on many issues. Anybody that has a problem with me should look in a mirror and ask themselves why I'm making fun of them. For example, Toro is right of centre and Kreskin is left. I've don't think I've said a bad word to (or about) either. It matters little to me what people think and more so how they behave (or misbehave as the case may be.

I don't care about post ratings. That's your thing.

I don't care about post ratings. That's your thing.

You are so full of sh*t and as transparent as glass. Right from the get go you've badmouthed seniors for being greedy and running up the debt that you have to pay back, when in fact it's you who've had an easy life and never had to lift a finger for f**k all. Your last statement about not caring about ratings is a pretty accurate indication about what kind of person you are. You don't care about ratings because you don't value other people's opinions. Anyone with an I.Q. above 3 can see right through you!

Wow - 9 posts about Christian hypocrisy in 25 minutes, looks to me like diarrhea running out your mouth! :) :) :) :)
