The other guys are stuck at focusing on the minority of extremists but didn't provide any compelling suggestions on how to reduce that extremism.
Also, percentages are more important than numbers.
If the worst country only has 8% of extremists (which is debatably lower), then this truly is an inconsequential thing to be concerned with.
And you can see that in the current response to Paris as well.

We're on the cusp of a major shift in international dogma wherein diplomacy and accepting migrants actually compromises the aim of terrorists.
You're kidding right? Please, tell me you're kidding. Taking refugees compromises the terrorists? They're laughing like hell at us 'cuz we're too stupid to know whether any of their buddies are one of the refugees. And while you may think "only" 8% of a country's citizens are extremists (likely higher in my estimation but even if you're correct) 1 - just 1 or 2 people can do a lot of damage as was proven in California recently.
We simply cannot be blinded by good ol' idealism; I am certainly not saying that we shouldn't take refugees - I am saying, however, that we can take ISIS or whatever they want to call themselves, at face value - they mean what they say. I find it extremely frustrating that various governments aren't taking them seriously. Or, to be more blunt - open the door but watch who you let into your house. That's all I'm saying and if that's being a bigot or racist or whatever, I wear that banner proudly.
