Interim Conservative Leader Rona Ambrose taps women for top shadow cabinet jobs

Interim Conservative Leader Rona Ambrose is stacking her shadow cabinet with a healthy dose of seasoned veterans and a smattering of new faces as the party positions itself as Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition for the first time in a decade.

"I believe the team we have assembled will be the strongest Official Opposition this country has ever seen," Ambrose said in a statement, noting the party's first priority is challenging Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's "massive tax-and-spend plan."

The party, which was reduced to 99 seats in the House of Commons after the Oct. 19 vote, will have 32 shadow cabinet ministers to challenge Trudeau's ministers and their ambitious change agenda.

"I am proud to lead this team of talented and respected individuals from across Canada. Together, we will ask the government tough questions and hold them to account," Ambrose said.

Lisa Raitt is deserving of compliments,
as stated before Rona Ambrose is wishy washy and incapacitated when off of script,she is useless,or as history has revealed" really useless" and only serves party policy.
Rona would only attract the admirers who don't know her history.
The only way Rona can bring herself to higher character is to switch parties,if she stays with the Conservatives she is washed up.

it should be! However, those bastardos in the liberal media party just won't relent... they're so fixated on 'sunny ways' and the fresh-faced positive exuberance of the new Liberal cabinet. It's a sad day when they continue to fixate on the tired frumpy hag-face looks of Ambrose et al! Nothing that makeovers, new do's, personal fitness trainers and weight loss coaches can't handle!

and like clockwork... that Walter guy is still doling out reddies! I guess there is something to be said for CC consistency! But really guys... you have no... NO new material? I would have thought the board owner/operator would have finally sought out moderators to properly deal with all your feces throwing! I guess maintaining your sandbox echo-chamber is better than nuthin!

No you actually didn't. The article said 'harper loyalists marginalized' However, it only really mentioned three of them, and one, Kenney, apparently asked not to have a critic role so he could organize and work for his leadership run.
